Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong developers for the initiatives within our Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Centre of Excellence. This role involves end-to-end development of innovative, high-impact projects involving blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, and enterprise-grade integrations. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of deep technical expertise skills to drive product delivery across emerging technologies and regulated environments.

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for developing the User interface of Desktop and Mobile applications and the backend systems as well. We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high performing team to roll out new Digital Solutions for SCB.

The candidate must be a skilled professional who has E2E software development experience with a desire to work on an agile, dynamic and flat organisational structure.  Must have hands-on experience in building applications to manage client journey and experience.  They will be matured individuals who are comfortable working in an agile environment with critical peer reviews of design and code. They must be able to offer constructive critical reviews of other’s designs and code. They will be able to research, trial, and recommend new technologies of interest to the group. They will have experience with taking code through testing, deployment, and production. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
•    Responsible for developing application and system solutions with good understanding in React and
•    other advanced JavaScript Frameworks
•    Work with CSS 3 Frameworks Compass/SASS, HTML5 AND JSON
•    Knowledge of UI frameworks Semantic UI, Semantic React UI, Bootstrap, Material Design
•    Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
•    Develop REST and SOAP APIs.
•    Integrate with databases using ORM frameworks and ensure efficient DB connectivity.
•    Develop and maintain messaging services using JMS and Solace.
•    Manage project dependencies and build processes using Maven.
•    Collaborate with the team using Git for version control.
•    Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD pipelines and project management.
•    Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit.
•    Write Extensive BDD Test Cases using Maven/Gherkins
•    Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between components.
•    Ensure adherence and continuous improvement of Agile practices, coaching and teaching new
•    techniques to the team as needed to achieve optimum productivity.
•    Engage and collaborate with a wide group of technology teams from upstream TP systems, 
•    System Integration: Ability to collaborate across platform, security, network, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of DLT services into enterprise ecosystems.
•    Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure networking, access controls, high-availability setups, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

Business 
•    Build & maintain blockchain protocols, smart contracts, tokenization modules and consensus algorithms.
•    Ensure security, integrity, and scalability of blockchain solutions.
•    Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain and cryptocurrency.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues in blockchain applications and systems.
•    Suggest blockchain development processes and best practices. 
•    Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, security, scalability, and adherence to coding standards.

•    Solution Governance: Experience working with solution architects and security domain experts to design and implement systems compliant with internal controls, frameworks, and best practices.
•    Standards & Methodologies: Proficiency in SDLC practices, Agile delivery, Git-based version control, issue tracking systems, and technical documentation

•    Leadership: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (Dev, DevOps, QA) through the full delivery lifecycle from ideation to implementation.
