Job Description: 

Job Summary

This role has full accountability for performance testing phase. The successful candidate will use previous Performance Test Management experience and knowledge of application/product and infrastructure testing to develop, implement, maintain, and improve overall performance test management strategy.
Quality Assurance and Control across all projects in a defined portfolio. This role will focus on performance testing including engineering/profiling of existing systems to ensure quality project IT deliverables.
The scope of the role will include projects already included as well as projects yet to be approved and activated as part of the Programme Vision. It is therefore essential to provide tactical as well as strategic test planning to address future direction of the performance testing and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•    Ability to create detailed performance test scenario plan
•    Hands on testing knowledge using different protocols with latest PT tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and Neo Load. Anything other than mentioned are added advantage
•    Frontend communications with stakeholders
•    Support in creating Test Plan, Closure report and Quality Gate checklist
•    Good understanding of Test Strategy, Test Traceability, Test Evidence, and Test Closure Report which form UTM (Unified Test Model) pillars under SCB’s System Delivery Framework
•    Ability to identify lags, challenges faced by the team and provide solutions
•    Review all test artefacts including test cases, evidence, traceability matrix, test coverage, candidates for automation
•    Actively participate in Portfolio initiatives
•    Expertise in Defect Management
•    Domain expertise on the respective functional areas
•    Identify risk and support on creating mitigation plans

Business
•    Able to access Business impact and production stability wrt to requirements out forward as part of ESG One

Processes
•    Responsible for executing and mentoring the Test Automation and execution for the ESG One Bow..

Risk Management
•    Ensure compliance with policies applicable to CCIB CC which impact operational risk. Challenge processes, procedures, and policy if there is opportunity for efficiency improvements.
•    Identify knowledge gaps, facilitate development of training on Operational Risk for business staff and country Risk &Control Teams.
•    Drive improvements using A3s

Governance 
•    Assist in the effective running of Country CCIB CC Business Risk Forum (BRF).
•    Ensure adequate governance and oversight of operational risk through the escalation and appropriate resolution of risk exposures to the Country Risk Committee (CRC) and Non-Financial Risk Committees (NFRCs) as required.
•    Escalate issues, blockages, challenges and trends to Business Heads, Head Risk & Control, as required.

•    Adhere to local regulator [Reserve Bank of India] prescribed responsibilities and Rationale for allocation

Other Responsibilities
•    Good knowledge across script development, execution and analysis
•    Good exposure to profiling tools and engineer the performance of any application
•    Expertise in load testing tools LoadRunner, JMeter & Neo load, anything added to these will be added advantage.
•    To identify and suggest improvement for better quality, and higher productivity in areas especially in test planning, preparation, execution and process adherence
•    Understand Performance requirements
•    Prepare a Performance Test Plan based on objectives,scope,environment and Tools.
•    Design Test Scenarios based on real time usage
•    Hands on testing knowledge using different protocols with latest PT tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and Neo Load. Anything other than mentioned are added advantage
•    Implement parameterization and correlation for dynamic server response
•    Ability to identify lags, challenges faced by the team and provide solutions
•    Review all test artefacts including test cases, evidence, traceability matrix, test coverage, candidates for automation
•    Capture metrics such as response time, throughput, error rate, CPU/memory utilization.
•    Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Banking or Finance preferred.  
•    Ideally 2+ years of experience in banking, analytical or another relevant environment
•    Languages: English and/or local language skills as relevant to country requirements 

Skills and Experience

•    Develop automation scripts 
•    Perform technical and test execution activities 
•    Design and write test cases in Gherkin language i.e. feature files
•    Hands-on experience in developing Test Automation suite using Java / .NET, Load, Postman,
•    Experience in Continuous Integration Tool, Azure DevOps
•    Database and SQLs knowledge
•    Test as in Agile Framework
