This role sits in the CFCR Framework, Risk Assessment and Appetite team to act as Product Manager to facilitate strategic design and delivery across the end-to-end Compliance Risk Monitoring, Insights & Planning product.
The Product: Compliance Risk Monitoring, Insights & Planning
This critical product encompasses the tools, systems, and methodologies used to monitor compliance risks across the bank, generate meaningful insights into risk exposure and trends, and support strategic planning for risk mitigation and regulatory adherence. It aims to provide a holistic view of compliance risk, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering a proactive risk culture.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our Compliance Risk Monitoring, Insights & Planning product. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of compliance risk management, driving innovation and delivering tangible value to our stakeholders.

Processes
•    Own the CFCR product lifecycle from problem discovery through prioritisation and post delivery learning, working within agile delivery models executed by partner teams.
•    Work with design and delivery teams to develop prototypes and user journeys that improve quality, consistency, and scalability of compliance risk outputs, including selective use of approved AI capabilities where appropriate. 
•    Prepare and maintain product roadmaps based on different dimensions and levels of granularity.
•    Support test experiments with end-users and own test readout and analyses. 
•    Act as the primary interface between Technology & Operations Teams, Data Analytics & AI Teams, Compliance & Business Risk Managers, Managed Services and other functional partners.
•    Drive continuous process improvement within the product development lifecycle.
•    Ensure all product decisions and artefacts are auditable, well documented, and suitable for regulatory and governance review.

People & Talent

•    Act as a product evangelist, inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
•    Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product team and across stakeholder groups.

Risk Management
•    Ensure that the product inherently supports the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of compliance risks.
•    Incorporate robust controls and data governance principles into product design and development.
•    Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees.
•    Collaborate with internal audit and risk functions to ensure product adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Governance
•    Proactively identify and address potential risks related to product development, data integrity, and system performance.
•    Ensure that initiatives are delivered consistent with the requirements of the ORF.
•    Ensure that that Bank’s project and change management disciplines are adhered with. 

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidate

Skills and Experience

•    Execution of product management best practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
•    Design thinking, conducting user interviews, testing & developing user journeys.
•    Knowledge of Compliance, Financial Crime and/or Risk Management.
•    Track record of successfully launching and managing complex data or analytics-driven products.
•    Prior experience in UX/UI design.
•    Ability to collaborate and work dynamically across functions. Good communication skills, ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
•    Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-informed product decisions.
•    Experience working in an Agile environment, product roadmap creation and backlog management

Qualifications
Must Have
•    Bachelors or Master’s degree from a reputable university
•    5+ years of professional work experience in product management or project delivery or as a consultant
•    5+ years of professional work experience in Financial Institution or Fintech or equivalent industry.
Preferred
•    Certified in product management.
•    Experience in Compliance, Financial Crime and/or Risk Management.
