Title: Product Mgr - SME Credit Transformation

Job Summary
- Drive implementation of Credit Transformation initiatives for Trade & Working Capital (TWC) business within SME Banking
- Develop / manage transformation roadmap for identified capabilities within the end-to-end credit journey comprising credit origination, monitoring and fulfilment
- Define, drive and track relevant success metrics
- Design and implement a change management strategy
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Collaborate with SME, Risk and Operations teams to identify opportunities to streamline and accelerate credit journey through digitisation and automation of credit assessment and monitoring activities
- Help to benchmark SME credit origination and monitoring capabilities with industry best practices / tools, identify key trends and incorporate into SME roadmap
Processes / Execution & Project Management
- Able to work in Enterprise agile environment and guide the squad to deliver on agreed priorities
- Work with cross functional Group, regional and country teams to identify use cases for digitisation / automation of credit journey. Execute those use cases with help of Agile Squad.
- Creating and maintaining a prioritised Product Backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent and clear
- Clearly communicating priorities, objectives/goals, mission and acceptance criteria to the Agile Delivery Team
- Ensure country SME teams are suitably engaged throughout the change delivery lifecycle
- Work with vendors, Professional services consultant, and cross functional teams to design, implement capability
- Validate deliveries through success metrics, after deployment to ensure they meet all operational and business requirements and drive maintenance and problem resolution, as required
- People & Talent
- Nurture a network of country champions for effective implementation of credit journey digitisation. Share best practices across country teams.
Risk Management
- Ensure change risk is duly assessed and managed, in line with the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Governance
- Facilitate the oversight of funded initiatives through appropriate governance and oversight forums. Ensure timely escalation of emerging risks and issues associated with change initiatives and agree appropriate mitigation.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Skills and Experience
- Understanding of SME/Commercial Banking client segment
- Project Management
- Experience with Credit Risk Management & Analytics Tools
- Appreciation of regulatory and competitive landscape in SME key markets
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Business / SME Banking and credit risk management practices in this segment
- Experience of driving credit transformation initiatives
- Exposure to credit tools / platforms
- Bachelors / Master’s degree holder. Relevant experience of 8+ years.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Good knowledge of Confluence and JIRA to conduct above activities in enterprise agile environment
- Highly effective in a large virtual cross functional team aligning to/and multiple business and IT partners across different markets
