Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Responsible for developing and planning the roadmap for the collateral ecosystem and engaging with stakeholders to agree and implement the strategic architecture in transforming the collateral system to the best in class.
Business 
•    Work closely with internal stakeholders on their requirements and providing suitable & robust solution which are strategic in nature. Keep abreast of industry best practises & regulatory requirements covering margining and collateral management to assess those that can be adopted at SCB.
Processes  
•    Comply with the FM Product Owner framework supplementing the CDS and GTO definition. In addition the subject matter expert role with applicable knowledge & experience is key for success in this role.
•    Ensure the key Agile ceremonies are in place; regular grooming & prioritization of the collateral system backlogs; plan & map the deliverables for the year including with surrounding systems owners with quarterly & monthly reviews outside of the sprint planning; thorough requirements gathering; in-depth analysis of requirements & development of solutions + processes; provide robust acceptance criteria with completeness of test cases; review & analyse test results; plan the release dates of the ADO tickets per the business & regulatory target dates while train & prepare the BAU teams on the new functionality &/or processes.
•    Apply the above process for non-Margin Ops initiated / external projects with the added check that the changes is in-line with the collateral systems intent & strategic architecture.
People & Talent
•    Create the vision for the collateral system & the Agile squad(s). Lead & guide the squad(s) members in  resolving the challenges in progressing with delivering the solutions.
Risk Management
•    Identify, assess, control & mitigate any risks with the changes to be implemented covering systems, resilience, data confidentiality, security, operational, regulatory risks and those stipulated in the bank’s risk policies & procedures.

Governance
•    Responsible for ensuring the squad complies with the Agile & New Ways of Working with regular grooming & prioritization of the backlogs.

•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. •    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

•    Margin Ops, Collateral Development & Production Support, Surrounding Systems Owners, Markets COOs, Markets & Treasure Desks including Sales, Compliance, Legal, Credit Risk, Markets Operations, Product Control, Finance & Operational Risk.
