Job Summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking an experienced Senior AEM SME to join our team in Bangalore. As a AEM SME, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of complex Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions to support our digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture and design of AEM-based web applications and digital experiences
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX designers, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Implement best practices for AEM development, including component architecture, templates, workflows, and integrations
  • Optimize AEM performance and scalability through code optimization, infrastructure tuning, and cloud deployment strategies
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in AEM development practices, standards, and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for AEM projects, including scope definition, estimation, and risk management
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features, releases, and industry trends

Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in web development, with at least 5 years focused on AEM
  • Proficient in Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and client-side frameworks like React or Angular
  • Deep understanding of AEM architecture, including OSGi, Sling, JCR, and AEM APIs
  • Experience with AEM development tools and frameworks like Maven, Gradle, Brackets, and AEM CLI
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers
