Job Summary
Work with development teams to validate the quality of the product delivered to the stakeholders as per group standards. The successful candidate should be an experienced ETL / Data Tester with a track record in delivering multiple concurrent, complex projects. The successful candidate is expected to:
In-depth knowledge in BigData ETL
• Experience in Bigdata Hadoop Hive is must
• Python/spark experience
• CICD – ETL test automation tools
• Plan and execute activities in relation to test preparation, automation, execution, and reporting
• Implement Test Automation scripts using Selenium/Java and the bank defined framework, review codes and provide mentorship to peers
• Hands-on experience in any performance testing tools is good to have
• Knowledge in shell scripting
Key Responsibilities
Business*
• Collect and analyse measurement data;
• Coach junior staffs;
• Define test strategy and test plan;
• Work with business to define business requirements / user stories;
• Help business understand benefits of test automation;
• Oversee test activities and manage resources;
• Manage resources to ensure project delivery;
• Ensure procedures / standards are properly applied;
• Ensure quality of project delivery;
• Ensure audit trails are retained;
• Host retrospective sessions and identify best practices and lessons learned.
Processes*
• Comply with procedures and standards;
• Identify improvement opportunities actively, share ideas with team, and act on improvements;
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on solution design, coding standard, etc.;
• Contribute in test automation framework and test pipeline development;
• Contribute to team knowledge base;
• Keep relevant documents up-to-date;
People & Talent*
• Identify teammates’ need for help proactively and provide support as appropriate;
• Actively join and focus on training provided by team;
• Actively acquire new knowledge per need of the team;
