Job Summary
The Bank is running a program of work relevant countries to comply with a “Basel Committee on Banking Supervision” edict (BCBS239). The program is divided into multiple streams to cover various Risk Types. It requires the streams to analyze and document data requirements and implement their change requirements in order to comply with the BCBS239 principles by the stipulated deadline.
The role holder will support BCBS239 requirements for the allocated streams. The job holder will work closely with the subject matter and analyse the project requirements against BCBS239 principles, work towards implementing the requirements and perform independent validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project team in BCBS239 implementation and independent validation
- Conduct independent validation for Risk and support risk data domain owner
- Support 2nd LoD review for Risk Reporting Standard
- Coordinate with reporting teams on pending actions, assigned task and maintain task list
- Support and execute any other tasks which may be assigned as & when required
Skills and Experience
- Qualified to Bachelor / Masters Level in Finance or related subjects.
- A good understanding of Risk domain (covering Financial and Non-Financial risk types).
- Experience in MS Excel and advanced PowerPoint (assemble data in .pptx presenting to senior management).
- Strong understanding of BCBS239.
- Commendable documentation skills.
- Very good command of the English language. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Comfortable to communicate with senior management and other key stakeholders across different risk teams in the bank.
- Ability to present complex information in a succinct manner to senior management.
- This is key contributor role which will require very good planning and coordination to deliver timely and high quality.
Qualifications
