Job Summary
The successful candidate will be part of Aspire GCFO Change PMO Team, taking complete ownership and accountability for PMO functions for the Journey he/she is assigned to, which includes budget controls for all projects within the Journey and complete accountability of all the processes of the project from conception stage to implementation and post-implementation review. Ensure all necessary governance steps are followed and completed as per the standards.
What we are looking for in the candidate
Candidate background - The candidate must have at least 10-12 years of relevant experience
• With banks, Financial Institutions or Consulting firms with strong project management skills
Key expectations
• Strong Project management expertise
• Should have strong expertise in Project Financials, Governance, RAID management &Resource management.
Hands-on skill on any PPM application such as Clarity, etc.
Strategy
• Representing budget control for each projects for full year.
• Ownership and accountability of the project from conception through to post-implementation review, ensuring all necessary governance steps, and testing practices are followed correctly and completely.
• Take ownership for the delivery of agreed business outcomes according to time, budget and scope.
• Enforce a structured approach to project delivery within the team to realize synergies and efficiencies where possible.
Complete project definition in line with Programme level strategy
• Throughout the life of the project review and prioritise to ensure ongoing alignment
• Ensure development of benefit profiles, and active management of benefit realisation
• Ensure robust and transparent programmatic controls including resource, financial, schedule and quality management, status reporting and governance – including use of automated tooling (Clarity)
• Ensure interdependencies with other projects and programmes are managed effectively
• Ongoing management of project capitalisation ratio’s and forecast
Business
• Ensure KPIs for the respective projects are green for all the parameters.
• Stakeholders management – communication
Processes
• Ensure project financials are always up to date. Create monthly forecast in collaboration with ITO PMO and the PM to ensure variance is below 5%.
People & Talent
• Allocation of the resources to the activities/tasks as per project requirements.
• Establish a communication strategy to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
Provide updates/reports on weekly and monthly tasks.
• Support any ad hoc requests from the Program office, project managers and workstream lead.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
Risk Management
• Engage with Delivery SPOCs and updates to RAID log in the tool on defined frequency
Governance
• Review Control Metrics and QPR fortnightly dashboard and act as required.
• Governance activities for Customer Go live
• Governance around Project setup and Closure
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Qualifications
• Extensive experience in a project management role, or PMO role
• Certified Project Management Professional a plus
• Experience in managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodology
• Resilient and able to adapt changing priorities and conflicting requirements
• Must have strong time management skills (including multi-tasking) and be able to prioritize and control activities and deliver results within budgetary and resource constraints.
• Must have experience of managing project finances – forecasting, actuals, accruals, estimating
• Must possess excellent reporting, (written & oral) communication
