Job Summary
The role holder is accountable for running the Application Fraud Screening Initiative under the Fraud Risk Management Programme and delivering all the relevant associated commitments made under the Fraud Treatment Plan.
Project Delivery
• Manage project delivery including planning, scope, budget and resource allocation, risks, and issues etc
• Ensure that the progress of the committed deliveries is closely monitored, and appropriate and timely action is initiated to attain the targets set out in the Fraud Treatment Plan.
• Support Programme manager in the planning, delivery, and implementation of projects
• Ability to build SME knowledge on the bank’s Application Fraud Detection solution to be able to steer the initiatives in the right direction
• Ensure delivery is in line with client expectations and results in a clear outcome of Fraud Risk reduction
• Use project management tools such as Gantt Chart etc, for planning and scheduling of projects and tracking thereafter until delivery.
• Continuously improve delivery capability of the project teams to improve efficiency and quality
• Build cross-functional relationships with Business, FRM, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Fraud Ops and Digital teams to enhance delivery
Project Governance
• Run projects in compliance with the ePMO guidelines.
• Ensure all the mandated artefacts are produced to the necessary standards and within the required timelines
• Monitor, track, and report on deliverables through each stage of the project life cycle to ensure project is completed on time
• Monitor, track, and report on the project financials
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to key business stakeholders and senior management
• Provide regular updates to the various governance forums (Refinement Forum, QPR)
• Review and support the adoption and adherence of the Bank’s Project Management Standards and best practices/principles across the programme
• Liaise with the PMO team and participate in and respond to relevant Quality assurance initiatives
• Ensure re-baselining requests/change requests and closure reports are fully documented before presenting for approval
• Accountable for satisfactory closure of issues / gaps arising from Internal Audits, peer reviews and regulatory reviews for the project.
• Liaise with Vendors including internal vendors and third party vendors to ensure delivery of agreed initiatives within timelines, followed with continuous monitoring and handling of bugs, production issues etc. observed, if any.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelors/master’s degrees
- Experience of having worked on projects in a banking environment would be a positive
- Minimum 8-10 years in a project management capacity supporting or delivering strategic projects, programmes, and initiatives
- Experience of having worked with global teams and stakeholders across countries.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects (5 years +)
- Expert level analytics and quantitative skills
- Ability to organize tasks and activities in an efficient/effective manner
- Must be a collaborating and effective negotiator
- Intermediate level analytic skills to support metrics and KPI analysis
CERTIFICATIONS
- Must hold Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
