Job Summary
This role will be a key member of our senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing the development and operation of our core data infrastructure. This role demands a visionary leader with a robust background in engineering, a deep understanding of data platforms, and a proven track record in leading large-scale technology projects in the security sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, architecture, development, and deployment of our advanced data platform, ensuring it meets the high standards required for security, scalability, and performance.
- Drive the technical vision and direction of the company, fostering innovation and setting high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align the engineering strategy with the overall business goals.
- Manage and mentor the engineering team, cultivating a high-performance engineering culture and promoting professional growth.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of the data platform, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the selection and management of technology stacks and the implementation of best practices in software development, quality assurance, and deployment.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.12+ years of experience in software engineering and data platform development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a technology organization.
- Proven experience in leading the development and operation of large-scale, high-availability data platforms, preferably in the security services or related sectors.
- Strong architectural and system design skills in a cloud-native environment.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring top-tier engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of data security, privacy laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring confidence and respect at all levels of the organization.
