Job Summary
Come join us as a Solution lead in RV2/Assemble under Risk & Finance Domain and help us define, design and deliver cloud native, highly scalable, and high-performance business solutions.
The Technical ( ? ) Product Manager would be primarily responsible for integrating business knowledge and systems analysis to come up with efficient solutions to satisfy business needs. They would be working with the Business Product Owners to drive the delivery of products and services within the Risk Functions domain with the aim of delivering excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Business to understand user journeys prioritised for development.
- Propose and Engage with Architecture Review Forums to get the solution design approved
- Engage with BAs, Users to socialise the design
- Participate in Agile ceremony for product development
- Develop High end products adhering to latest tech & design principals.

1. Product Management
· Stakeholder management: Understanding what stakeholders want vs what they need.
· Product Vision: Where do you want to see the product heading.
· Leadership: Contribute to decision making as opposed to order taking.
· Backlog management: Able to make informed decisions on priority of backlog features.
2. Product Ownership
· Product roadmap: Apparent and non-apparent requirements based on external and internal research.
· Customer Journey analysis: Understanding customer journey and experience with a focus on identifying pain points.
· Resource Management: How to make use of available resources in the arsenal.
3. Business Analysis
· Functional expertise: Understand the context and business in which the product operates (Purpose).
· Analysis: Able to connect dots between all parts both within the product and on a larger domain landscape.
· Feature Engineering: Translation of a business need into a viable technical solution (Craftmanship).
Key roles and responsibilities
Day to day responsibilities include –
1. Requirements Management: Participate in requirements gathering process. Ensure requirements are clearly defined and are captured in functional or technical specifications. Write clear concise user stories that will be referred to by both developers and QA. Be able to encapsulate all scenarios associated with a feature.
2. Bridge between Business and Tech: Should be able to translate high level product vision, initiatives and requirements into tangible, detailed requirements for development team.
3. Backlog management: manage product backlog by providing input and justifying prioritisation.
4. Data Analysis: Ensure that decisions take in team with respect to product design and vision are backed by data. Be responsible for extraction and presentation of said data.
5. Development and Testing Support – Support developers and testers by providing functional clarifications during development. Also conduct sessions on functional topics as and when required. Contribute to preparing UAT test cases for users. Also contribute in the testing phase by validating the functional and technical scope of features.

Qualifications

Good understanding of banking products, processes. Possess understanding of systems in investment banking and/or retail banking and /or commercial banking. Good understanding of risks associated with banking – market, credit, operational and liquidity. Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in working in banking domain with risk related products.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Should be able to extract and analyse raw data and be able to derive insights from the same. Should possess working knowledge of any database tool (SQL, Oracle, Postgres).
· Should be able to write clear and effective user stories in accordance with Behaviour Driven Development. Knowledge of Gherkin or equivalent tools/languages would be an added plus.
· Should be familiar with Human centric Design experience. Should be able to conduct problem solving, collaborative exercises with various stakeholders with the aim of ideating, solution designing, prioritizing etc.
· Design thinking.
· Should be able to contribute UX Design conversations. Should be able to propose designs in keeping withing design frameworks and with the aim of elevating user experience. Experience in tools like Figma would be an added plus.
· Should be familiar with API documentation and development.
· Should be detail-oriented and result driven. Should be able to work with team cohesively to arrive at common goals in line with stakeholder expectations.
· Ability to effectively communicate technical information either individually or in a group setting to business stakeholders in understandable layman terms as well as to translate business requirements into technical IT requirements.
· Evidence of continual improvement and investment in self-development (training, certifications (internal/external) , education , secondments into new areas).
