Job Summary
The Senior Development will be a key member of BPSI Data lens module and Data api services of the CIB data management team and responsible for the design , development and delivery of the UI pages ,api’s and Reports . Ensure development and delivery of high-quality software that meets functional and non-functional requirements. The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Responsible for the design and development analytical data model, database, Extract Transform and Loading (ETL) routines, for building reports and dashboards
• Review requirement specifications and work closely with the team members
• Analyse the business requirements, User stories and come up with the end-to-end design including technical implementation, and timelines.
• Develop technical design documents, technical specifications and Ui Page design based on the requirement specifications and user stories.
• Develop data mapping documents and review with product owner and ensure the business derivation rules and transformation logics are accurate.
• Develop , upgrade, administration, and troubleshooting of REST and GRPC api’s
Business
• Work closely with architects and infrastructure teams and review the solutions.
• Interact with support teams periodically and get input on the various business users’ needs.
• Provide all the required input and assistance to the business users in performing the api integration.
Processes
• Should have successfully implemented or delivered projects using industry best practices in banking and financing industry
• Actively participate in discussions with business users and seek endorsements and approvals wherever necessary w.r.t technology project delivery.
People & Talent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the UI and REST api development.
• Good knowledge in React Js, java 17, Springboot, GRPC, Hazlecast cache
• Good working experience in postgress database Strong analytical and problem solving
• In depth experience in architecture and solution design
• High-level knowledge on Service Oriented, Microservices and Cloud native architecture implementations
• Experience on UI design principles (ex: Grid systems) and UI/UX design patterns.
• Web services, API design, Defining Specification using swagger/RAML.
• Exhibit hands-on on various Non-Functional Requirements implementation
• Strong experience in common and reusable components/services development
• Performance and Throughput measures
• Independently contribute to design and development of solutions
• Collaborate with BA and interfacing teams in common controls developments, prototyping
• Improve code quality statistics, participate/drive code reviews and continuously reduce technical debt
• Collaborate with teams globally to deliver, present ideas and innovate
• Model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery
• Knowledge on usability testing tools.
Risk Management
• Assess and evaluate the risks that are related to the project delivery and update the management team with appropriate remediation and mitigation approach.
• Review the technical solutions and deliverables with onshore delivery leads and key technology stakeholders and ensure that the deliverables are adhering to the risk governance rules
Governance
• Work with Technology Governance and support teams and establish standards for simplifying the existing ui and api performence
• Take end to end ownership of managing and administering the UI and api development
