Job Summary

Drive Standard Chartered ’s Technology strategy through leadership of the engineering teams that develop and maintain our Intra Day Liquidity platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

•    Manage Intraday Liquidity management server infrastructure and middleware components. 
•    Design our technology infrastructure holistically and continuously improve our technical efficiency and make changes as necessary
•    Keep server infrastructure up to date with latest patches from vendor and make sure servers are aligned to bank future infrastructure direction 

Busines

•    Have a good understanding of Intraday Liquidity management and its importance for Financial institutions.
•    Knowledge of bank statements, swift MT messages, Real time payments, XML messaging formats is a definite advantage.
•    Knowledge of reconciliations between ledgers and bank statements, real time reporting requirements is a definite advantage.
•    Any knowledge on SAP products and particularly SAP-LMS (Liquidity Management Solution) would be a definite advantage.

Processes
•    Align to Standard Chartered delivery processes of software delivery framework and keep high standard for change management practice.
•    Create process to reduce product time-to-market by embracing automation in the delivery lifecycle

People and Talent 

•    Provide technical guidance and direction, as well as hands-on resource management for all infrastructure related activities.

Risk Management
•    Highlight emerging risks to planned delivery upfront to ensure sufficient measures can be taken.
•    Inform all stakeholders appropriately only risk / issues / challenges

Governance 
•    Establish good governance process in the team to ensure quality delivery.
•    Ensure minimal release rollbacks, minimum post release production issues

Regulatory & Business Conduct 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

•    Treasury Service Users, Treasury Service PO / CPO, Tech – BA

Qualifications

•    5+ years’ experience in Infrastructure architecture, data centres, servers, and networks
•    3+ years’ experience in Unix Operating systems Shell scripting or Python scripting 
•    Ability to evaluate, conduct POC and build solutions on new technologies.
•    Ability to drive and communicate with all Tech teams including DBA, Unix, Network, Storage and Cloud team. 
•    Excellent communication, and organizational skills
•    Application Server: JBOSS Web Server, Tomcat, SAP Web Server
•    Database: Oracle 12C/19C, PL SQL, SAP HANA.
•    Authentication: SSO, LDAP, SAML 2.0
•    Security:  SHA1/SHA2 Certificate, Https, SSL set up 
•    Middleware: IBM MQ, Active MQ, Solace, AMQP, Topic, Web methods
•    Language: Shell Scripting, Python, Jenkin groovy Pipeline and Ansible 
•    Repository: GIT & SVN 
•    Build tool: Maven, Gradle 
•    Deployment: Docker, Azure Devops
•    Experience with emerging technology, such as Container, cloud computing, desktop virtualization and unified communications.
•    Experience working in a banking I.T. team preferred
