Job Summary

A talented and passionate senior individual to join Standard Chartered as a Sr Isilon & NAS Engineer.  They will act as the subject matter expert for this product offering in the bank and lead all initiatives for Isilon design, backlog, lead efforts on support, and asserting one’s technical authority to reach successful outcomes.  They will also participate in data migrations, creation of new platforms and demonstrate a sound awareness of the migration flow, prerequisites and dependencies, testing, success criteria and risk mitigation. Oversee routines and failures, work with the customers to improve the overall journey and periodically participate in support calls to fulfil production and project needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidate having at least 10 years experience with Dell Isilon Administration & Engineering
• Understanding of Dell Isilon Architecture & Design
• Knowledge of NetApp Products        
• Knowledge of backup technologies – Cohesity is a Plus
• CIFS / NFS protocols
• experience in DevOps Pipelines 
• Hands on experience in writing code using Java/Python will be added advantage.
• Hands on experience in any scripting language as Bash or python 
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Able to run End-to-End pipeline using any stack.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Bitbucket, Git and GitHub workflows

Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in computer science or equivalent, and at least 10 years’ experience with Isilon Products
