Job Summary
• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using LoadRunner to conduct comprehensive performance testing, including soak and peak tests. This role requires the ability to create detailed Performance Test (PT) plans, execute tests, and generate thorough execution reports.
Strategy
• Design, develop, and execute performance tests using LoadRunner to assess system behavior under varying loads.
Business
• Conduct soak tests to evaluate system stability over extended periods and peak tests to determine system capacity and performance under maximum load conditions.
Processes
• Understand the bank’s software delivery processes and implement solutions in line with the bank’s compliance and security requirement.
Key Responsibilities
People & Talent
• Work collaboratively with a team of diverse engineers in sprint delivery.
• Produce technical documentation and prepare training materials on the solutions being delivered and provide technical support.
• Conduct briefing and/or training sessions to application delivery teams to help them get onboarded and accelerate adoption.
Risk Management
• Understand bank’s risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered.
Governance
• Understand bank’s software delivery & quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilitie
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and trends to continuously improve the infrastructure.
Qualifications
• Over all 8+ years experience and Minimum 4+ years proven experience in performance testing with LoadRunner.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, soak, and peak testing.
• Ability to create and execute detailed Performance Test plans.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret test results and identify performance issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with additional performance testing tools is a plus.
• Creating and managing performance test scripts
• Solid understanding of the role and value of software QA/Testing
• Non-Functional test experience encompassing performance, automation, Disaster Recovery, vulnerability, security, fault-tolerance.
