Job Summary
PROCESSES AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:
• Drive Group performance analytics and reporting that supports transparency, accountability, and informed decision making.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence strategic direction and create commercial value through Insights
• Demonstrate strong understanding of business drivers and its impact on performance reporting. Stay abreast of evolving business strategies to infer impact.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles including presentation and messaging to GMT and Board, to support decision making and approval of the plan.
• End to end ability to drive decisions through Analysis, hypothesize, articulation (messaging & content), Presentation (with options) to influence decisions.
• Champion process simplification and automation to improve financial efficiency and data accuracy.
• Support efficiency transformation initiatives, regulatory demands, and operational resilience, while maintaining financial transparency.

• Build and execute a People Engagement strategy that encompasses timely & relevant updates as well as social engagement to improve overall employee well being

• Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations for, financial controls, and governance.
• Provide financial leadership in audits, regulatory reviews, and operational risk management.
• Maintain robust financial control frameworks and ensure alignment with internal and external policies.
• Act to minimize operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising and identify and manage forward looking risks.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. • Experience in leading FP&A team with strong understanding on the concepts driving banking business
• Strategic mindset and with a good understanding of Banking business.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions.
• Excellent business judgment, operational control management and risk assessment.
• Experience in change and programme management and self-awareness to adopt varying approaches for different stakeholder dynamics.
• Experience of managing operational businesses and infrastructure teams
