Job Summary

•    The Head of Collections Analytics and Insights is responsible at a global level for analysis and insight with relation to collection performance and strategy and provides actionable insights to improve debt recovery and minimize losses. The role reports into the Global Head of Collections. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into practical solutions for optimizing collections processes and customer treatment strategies

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
• Establish performance metrics and monitoring systems for the team and individual performance.
• Define and establish innovative collection KPIs and dashboards to drive efficiency & 
• effectiveness usage including new digital collection methods & channels.
• Drive the standardisation of Collection report suite including innovative techniques and format to 
• provide insightful management decisions.
• Leverage new and innovative management information systems for delivery to management & stakeholders

Business
• Serve as the single point of contact for the Global Collection Head & Cluster Heads to receive insights and analysis. 
• Explore Analytics as a tool to produce high quality MI (relevant and accurate) for the use of the function
• Standardise and automate the process to ensure efficiency. 
• Support & educate business stakeholders to understand collection key performance indicators.
• Create capabilities to do predictive analysis to leverage data and through new technologies 

Processes
• Lead process mapping, documentation, and standardization to support seamless migration.
• Identify process gaps or localization requirements to ensure smooth vendor adoption.
• Coordinate readiness activities, parallel runs, and cutovers to minimize disruption.
• Support development of robust knowledge transfer plans and training materials.

People & Talent

• Foster strong collaboration across global, regional, and country teams to align objectives and manage change.
• Coach, Train & support stakeholders to self-serve in an effort to understand collection efficiency & effectiveness and the relevant levers to pull in order to improve.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate operational, reputational, and customer risks related to collection performance and reporting.
• Ensure all management information meets regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Partner with Operational Risk, Compliance, and Audit to proactively address regulatory and risk concerns.

Governance

• Develop and maintain migration project governance frameworks, ensuring clear accountability and decision rights.
• Establish robust reporting and escalation channels for senior management and steering committees.
• Monitor migration progress against scope, timeline, budget, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure all regulatory and internal approvals are secured before transition execution

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration,Operations Management, Risk Management, or related field.
• Training - Certifications inAI/ML, Data engineering are a plus
• Languages - English

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of business operations and the financial impact of collections performance.
• Expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, and data visualization.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems related to collections performance.
• Knowledge of collections processes and regulations: Familiarity with collections best practices and relevant regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a complex environment.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
