RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

•    Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.

Business
•    Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

Processes
•    To understand client’s need and to deepen relationship with existing client to penetrate more market share of client’s activity in term of interest rate, foreign exchange and commodity products.
•    To establish relationship with new client and coordinate with OCC to working on the new account acquisition.
•    To liaise with product traders to analyse the acceptance ratio for quotations provided to each client, alongside feedback from the clients concerning completing quotations accepted in preference to SCB, in order that the traders may factor this information into their pricing decisions.
•    To coordinate with related parties and stakeholders such as Traders, RMs, TB, Product partners in order to offer the best solution and meet client’s need.
•    Liaise with Operations (back office) concerning clients’ feedback received on service delivery quality, in order to seek improvements in service where viewed as necessary from client’s perspective.
•    Monitor the utilization of each client’s trading limits with SCB, obtain specific approval for any excess likely to arise as a result of a particular transaction, and alert in principal CR where it appears that a highest limit would lead to additional profitable business in Treasury Products.
•    Acknowledge and understand thoroughly the contents and requirements of the Standard Charted Group Code of Conduct.

Risk Management
•    The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures

Governance
•    Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
