JOB SUMMARY

Overview:
The primary role of the Relationship Manager is to drive profitability from the Chinese Client portfolio, both from existing clients and through new client acquisition. Due to our continued expansion across ASEAN, we currently have an opportunity in our Bangkok, Thailand office 

Key Responsibilities:

Origination:
•    Assist Head, Global Subsidiaries Thailand and work along with Regional Head China Corridors to develop & implement strategy of growth for the Chinese Corporate Business in Thailand.
•    Responsible for Origination and work closely with key stakeholders including China Global Account Managers (GAMs), Product Partners along with Credit Analysts (CAs) and Client Coverage Managers (CCMs) in Thailand in deepening relationships and driving revenue growth in the Chinese Portfolio.
•    Responsible for revenue budget for the Chinese Corporate Business in Thailand.
•    Ensure quality pitches to clients to deliver a deal from origination to final closure.
•    Increase engagement levels with GAMs based in SCB China to strengthen group level relationships.

Client On boarding & Deal Execution:
•    Work with CAs to obtain pre deal clearances, credit approval to ensure quality & turnaround of credit proposal.
•    Oversee CCM to ensure smooth on-boarding of client after thorough completion of documentation and other processes.
•    Work with product partners to deliver effective cross sell, wallet sizing and comprehensive account plans. 
•    Have/ Develop an understanding of the banking regulations/compliance requirements in Thailand
•    Facilitate / Liase with CDU/ External Legal counsel, where required, in preparation and execution of Non Standard Documentation

Account Management / Portfolio Quality
•    Ensure full compliance on CDD/AML matters related to portfolio
•    Have an oversight on risk & overall accountability of the credit quality in the portfolio.

•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

•    Fluent in Mandarin
•    Prior banking experience will be given due weightage
