RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Define and execute the technology roadmap for SCPAY, aligned with business and ITO strategy.
- Lead delivery of global payments and clearing initiatives, including new capabilities, enhancements, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure solutions align with modern architecture, scalability, stability, and performance standards.
Business
- Work closely with Payments Business teams to translate investment decisions into design, development, implementation, and handover to operations.
- Balance time, cost, quality, and risk while delivering measurable business value.Support commercialization, client experience improvements, defect resolution, and continuous system improvements.
Processes
- Own end-to-end technology delivery across projects and programs.
- Partner with architects and other technology teams for cross-system integration and collaborative delivery.
- Drive initiatives that improve process efficiency, operational resilience, and automation (zero-touch agenda).
People & Talent (Non-People Manager Scope)
- Contribute to building a high-performing technology culture.
- Support capability building, learning, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure the right mix of internal and vendor resources.
Risk, Governance & Conduct
- Ensure adherence to risk management, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and remediate technology risks.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Demonstrate strong conduct aligned with Group Values and Code of Conduct.

- SCPAY – Programme Managers
- Group Payments Product Development Heads
Our Ideal Candidates Should Have:-
Technical Skills
- 6–8 years of development experience, with exposure to Dev Lead responsibilities preferred.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Kafka Streams, REST APIs, JSON
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra
- Platform & observability tools: Hazelcast, ELK
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence.

- Ability to work effectively in global, geographically dispersed teams.
- Action-oriented, collaborative, and customer-focused.
