Job Summary

TRADE PROCESSING
Role Responsibilities:
To assist in running of all BAU functions for all relevant Structured Notes, OTC Derivatives products classed and Private Capital Investments (PCI) including settlement, exceptions processing, MIS reporting, control & risk mitigation and project deliveries if required.

1.Ensure analysts perform timely resolution of internal & external customer queries.
2.Able to escalate customer complaints and propose solutions to resolve them by liaising with team members from trade processing function.
3.Understands customers’ requirements and able to instil a customer-centric culture in the team.

Business

1.Liaise with team members from support function on client query handling if required.
2.Understands customers’ requirements and able to instil a customer-centric culture in the team.

Processes
Transaction Processing Activities
1.Understands the various product booking models & able to perform end-to-end trade processing activities for all Structured Products and PCIs as stipulated below.
2.Assist in 1st level processing & 2nd Level approvals in the TP systems mainly T24 and ensure contract notes has been issued in accordance to country regulatory requirement daily.
3.Target to ensure minimal processing errors that’s leads to operations losses, near misses and regulatory / client impacts.
4.Able to drive quality work and maintain timeliness within teams

Key Responsibilities

1.To ensure team of junior operations officers delivers department goals and BAU accordingly.
2.Guide and share knowledge between team members to serve as support to one another.
3.Participate in cross training across products and functions (i.e. Support Functions) as part of contingency plan.

Risk Management
Control & Risk Mitigation
1.Adheres to laid out processes and procedures of the bank while completing process actions.
2.Prompt and early escalation of risk issues to Line Managers.
3.Identify errors and omissions resulting from routine process actions and ensure regular updating of process procedures (DOI).

Governance
Work Management
1.Prioritizes and schedule dept. workload accordingly to meet volume peaks & troughs.
2.Communicates own work plan issues and escalates potential “Bottlenecks’ to Line Managers
