Job Summary

Mainframe Development manager for credit card application

Strategy
Cultivate an engineering culture that values excellence, feedback, and clean code, driving the chapter towards innovative and efficient practices 

Business
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements. 
• Provides technical guidance to junior developers. 
•  Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
•  Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)
•  Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
•  Design program specifications aligning to coding best practices for efficient system performance
•  Perform program coding and testing  
•  JIRA ADO /  Confluence updates
•  User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications. 
•  Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.
•  Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.
•  Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools. 
•  Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks/ projects. 
•  Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities

Field of Study    Computer Science/Information Technology & related fields
Certification    Bachelor of Science or higher.

  • Good technical knowledge in Mainframe development and domain knowledge in Credit card detailed below.
  • Around 9 years of experience in Mainframe applications development and/or support. 
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders via verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and analytical in problem resolution.
  • Team player, fast learner, self-initiative and reliable.
  • The position will require the candidate to interact with various stakeholders for project delivery.

Lead / Senior – At least 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
