Job Summary
You will collaborate closely with front office stakeholders (RM & CMS) to understand the unique reporting requirements of their clients and translate these into system specifications and data mappings for report automation, while working in close partnership with colleagues in the competency team and other internal stakeholders. The role demands strong functional knowledge of various financial products, their lifecycles, and booking processes, along with a dedication to continuous improvement to effectively navigate the evolving landscape of bespoke customized reporting, significantly contributing to risk management and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a functional SME for bespoke customized client reports across all PvB locations.
- Help executing the Target Operating Model (TOM) for bespoke customized client reporting.
- Assess the end client’s needs and purpose behind the requested bespoke report in close collaboration with CSM/RM and build the required report format along with related data sourcing strategy for various financial products of client’s portfolio.
- Conduct detailed reviews of the draft customized reports and related supporting documentation to confirm data accuracy and completeness in alignment with related internal procedures as well as ensuring data representation is aligned with standard practices.
- Act as a bridge between requestor (FO) and automation competency team, once established.
- For automation cases, work with various data sourcing tools (including T24, TAP, OMS system, data lake) to source required data for report generation and prepare required data field mapping.
- Build the capabilities that improve the data availability and client reporting system flow.
- Help building the simplification of the relevant data sourcing & preparation steps by automating the repeated tasks.
- Work with PvB Customized Reporting Competency (CRC) team to establish adequate process and practices around the custom reports (from report generation to distribution).
- Perform with independent supervisory review of bespoke client reports and automate repeated task with self-manage automation using available tools like excel, copilot etc.
- Under the guidance of Head of PvB Client reporting and in close collaboration with key stakeholders, continuously review and raise the standards on internal controls in line with best-in class PvB practices.
- Driving the simplification and automation across customized reporting and standard statements.
- Prepare the centralize process & procedures for effective execution & delivery of the customized client reporting.
- Collaborate with statement redesign delivery to harmonize the cross leverage.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, lineage and governance is in place for customized report execution.
- Analyse any new request in conjunction with the defined process and help identifying the required data sources along with attribute mapping and possible solutions.
- Ensure that the expectations of the relevant stakeholders are adequately managed throughout the above processes.
- Perform inventory attestations processes (where applicable) and help maintaining the inventory of customized reports and non-standard client output across all PvB locations globally.
- Work with various data sourcing tools (including T24, TAP, OMS system, data lake) to source required data for report generation and prepare required data field mapping.
- Build the capabilities that improve the data availability and client reporting system flow.
- Help building the simplification of the relevant data sourcing & preparation steps by automating the repeated tasks.

Qualifications
- Graduate / Master’s degree with 5-8 years of experience in banking industry.
- Solid experience in private banking client statements.
- Regulatory knowledge of MAS/HKMA/SFC and understanding of the private banking/ wealth management business is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of various financial product booking flow with T24 system knowledge. Knowledge of Temenos TAP system is added advantage.
- Knowledge of analytics tool, hands-on with data analysis and related skill set will be an added advantage.
- Ability to adapt and act quickly to drive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
