Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee query remediation, trade life-cycling, and daily processing tasks, ensuring timely escalation to minimize risk.
• Support new business enablement and solutions, collaborating to deliver strategic FM initiatives and enhance Operational readiness.
• Evaluate vendor costs and services throughout the lifecycle.
• Serve as Operations representative for Sales and Trading, acting as the primary contact for local business teams.
• Represent Operations during external, internal, and regulator scheduled audits:
• Ensure audit findings are addressed within established timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation:
• Collaborate with Technology to deliver transformative solutions.
• Work with FM and FMO stakeholders to identify booking model enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Stay informed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to the Ops Risk Framework standards for implementation and process management.
• Conduct periodic reviews of DOI, process notes, and daily checklists to ensure complete and accurate documentation of procedures.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in Middle Office functions.
- Comprehensive understanding of Vanilla Credit products, including TRS and Loans.
- Expertise in Structured Credit products, specifically Loan TRS and TRCLI.
- Proficiency with systems such as Murex, Bloomberg, Loan IQ, and ClearPar.
- Experience in Loan Notice Processing.
- Skilled in Murex Processing.
Qualifications
• Expert knowledge of Financial Markets, Credit Derivatives, and Financing products.
• Comprehensive understanding of front-to-back product operation processes.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Confident communicator, capable of adapting style to engage effectively with Front Office and offshore colleagues.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Quick learner with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Excel (including pivots and lookups; basic VBA skills are advantageous).
• Flexibility to work across UK and US time zones is essential.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with 1-2 days per week in the office required.
