Job Summary

As part of the Transaction Banking (TB) award-winning Content and Proposal Management Team, and reporting to Global Head, Content and Proposal Management, the Bid and Content Manager (Mandarin Speaking), will partner with the Sales/RMs to drive and deliver responses to request for proposals  across corporate and financial institution  client segments within TB.  Using the proposal management best practice framework and leveraging AI tools, the Bid and Content Manager (Mandarin Speaking), will manage the entire proposal lifecycle to ensure the client’s deadline is met, while maintaining the highest quality output. This role will support all time zones with a focus on Asia including translate and update RFP responses and client-facing content from English to Chinese (Simplified Mandarin) as and when needed and ensure accuracy and consistency of translations in content, in consultation with subject matter experts. This role will also encompass supporting sales enablement materials such as case studies.

 

Key Responsibilities

You will

  • Partner with RMs, TB Sales and other subject matter experts to deliver high quality proposals/presentations and drive deal wins
  • Work with deal owners and subject matter experts to customise and present the most compelling solutions to meet the dynamic needs of clients - enhance/create value propositions to bring out key points that meet the client’s objectives and revise client responses to provide accuracy, full coverage and clarity
  • Co-ordinate deal calls and facilitate discussions on open items, sharing knowledge and client experiences with the deal team
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and local counterparts on RFPs, manage priorities to drive efficient and effective RFP preparation process including turnaround time
  • Act as an independent reviewer of selected RFPs to ensure high quality of responses
  • Play a proactive role to discuss and enhance client centricity on RFP responses 
  • Update all deal trackers and RFP calendar promptly and accurately of both in-flight and completed proposal including post deal client feedback
  • Be an integral part of the Content and Proposal Management Team and a subject matter expert to ensure timely and accurate update of new and existing  content from past RFPs submissions
  • Support sales enablement, including but not limited to drafting case studies  that explain client needs, solutions and benefits
  • Champion brand standards and guidelines for Transaction Banking, promoting application of best practices on all deliverables (including templates, toolkits, and proposals) to drive consistency in line with the Bank’s brand, style guide/editorial, and compliance standards
  • Conduct regular RFP best practices trainings/workshops for Sales, RMs, TB Product andother stakeholders to promote best practices, driving higher effectiveness andefficiency
  • Leverage the best in industry new technology platforms to ensure superior results, contributing to the development of new and improved processes and workflow
  • Actively keeping abreast of market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry best practices 
  • Drive and support strategic initiatives working closely with stakeholders to create alignmentwith strategy, improve productivity and enhance client value propositionsRegulatory & Business Conduct

Qualifications

  • Excellent English and Chinese verbal and written and communications (serving China market) - writing, editing, proofreading skills, including persuasive writing techniques   
  • Good knowledge of cash and trade management / transaction banking 
  • Excellent project management skills and process-oriented with good documentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexi hours occasionally as required to support different time zones. 
  • Track record of successfully delivering multiple projects on time 
  • Self-motivated, highly driven to produce results
  • Committed team player with willingness to be hands-on support

Professional

  • A degree holder, preferably in Economics, Finance, Business or Marketing/Communications 
  • Minimum 8 to 14 years’ relevant experience in the industry, including demonstrated success in an appropriate role

 

Technical

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint). 
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, analytics and/or digital collaboration tools. 
  • Proposal writing experience preferred
