Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    This is a Tech-Functional Business Analyst role, responsible for analysing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements across the CDUPS platform (Confirmations Domain). The role acts as the bridge between Business, Product Owners, Operations, Architecture, Development, and Testing teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives, regulatory changes, platform enhancements, and production stability improvements.
•    The candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Financial Markets technology and operations teams to define requirements, conduct impact analysis, support solution design, and facilitate end-to-end delivery through Agile methodologies.
•    This role requires strong domain knowledge in Financial Markets Post-Trade processing, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate in a complex global environment

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis
•    Elicit and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
•    Conduct workshops with Product Owners, Operations, Business users, and Technology teams.
Prepare:
•    Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
•    Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
•    User Stories
•    Acceptance Criteria
•    Process Flows
•    Data Mapping Specifications
•    Perform impact analysis across upstream and downstream applications.

Solution Design Support
•    Collaborate with Architects and Development teams to define solution approaches.
•    Review technical designs to ensure alignment with business requirements.
•    Support API, interface, and message format design discussions.
•    Analyse data flows and integration touchpoints.

Agile Delivery
•    Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
•    Work closely with Product Owners to prioritise requirements.
•    Manage requirement traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
•    Support estimation activities and release planning.

Testing & Validation
•    Assist in defining test scenarios and acceptance testing criteria.
•    Support SIT, FIT, UAT and Production Validation activities.
•    Review test evidence and validate defect resolution.
•    Coordinate with business stakeholders during UAT.

Stakeholder Management
Engage with: 
•    Product Owners
•    Operations Teams
•    Development Teams
•    Test Teams
•    Programme Managers
•    Architecture Teams
•    Production Support Teams
•    Provide regular updates on requirement status and risks.

Governance & Risk
•    Ensure compliance with SDLC, ADO and Change Governance standards.
•    Support CAB, Release and Audit activities when required.
•    Maintain project documentation and requirement repositories.

Support business and technical analysis across:

•    NDF
•    Commodities
•    Confirmations
•    UBER Integration (Trade)
•   Product Migration Initiatives

Analyse impacts from: 
•    Murex Decommission programs
•    FMRP onboarding activities
•    Static Data changes
•    Regulatory initiatives
•    Production issues and defect remediation

•    Work with upstream and downstream applications to ensure end-to-end process integrity. Based on CDUPS (Confirmations) programme activities where BA participation in requirement discussions and programme alignment has been identified as a key success factor.
