Job Summary

Standard Chartered’s diverse footprint across 63 of the fastest growing markets in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East creates unique opportunities for passionate, motivated, and highly skilled people who want to make a difference. We are changing the way people think about banking. We are changing the way we do business – becoming the digital bank with a human touch. This is your opportunity to be part of a growth story in an industry that is reimagining how customers are getting better, faster experiences and convenience through digital technology.

Our Information & Cyber Security (ICS) team sits within the Technology & Operations (T&O) function and is responsible for all mission-critical and enterprise-wide areas of cyber security, including identity and access management, global threat intelligence, data protection, malware protection, and application and infrastructure security. These are challenges that impact our clients globally.

Our ICS Portfolio Strategy and Transformation team develops the platforms, drives the processes, and builds partnerships on behalf of ICS. We thrive on providing solutions to complex issues, devoting time and energy to designing and delivering new and innovative solutions, and all in an environment that demands being risk-aware, not risk-averse. ICS chooses progress over perfection and aims to always participate with a constructive purpose. The team makes an impact wherever they are based, be it in our offices around the world, our Global Business Solution centres in China, India, Malaysia, and Poland, or even from our home.

If tackling complex challenges excites you, then join our ICS Portfolio Strategy and Transformation team where you will get to collaborate and work on solutions across business and functions to drive the transformation and deliver better experiences to our customers. We constantly strive to reduce time-to-market and streamline our processes. We follow agile methodology and work to embed an improvement habit across the Bank.

Now you have an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a diverse and passionate team of creators, innovators, and achievers. With us, you’ll learn, be inspired, and make an impact every day. The success of our work hinges on how we use the unique diversity of our people to realise the effects we seek to achieve: Always on. Always safe. Always Simple.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of the PST (Portfolio Strategy & Transformation) team within ICS Protect. As the Change & Engagement Manager, you will support the PST Team and the wider ICS Function in driving positive outcomes for stakeholders and end users of ICS products and services. You will help deliver a robust engagement agenda that supports collaboration with key stakeholders across the Bank and that keeps our wider stakeholder group informed and updated on key ICS initiatives. You will also work closely with the various areas within ICS to ensure our internal colleagues are kept informed and engaged with initiatives and events happening across the function. You will also be called upon to support our team of certified change managers in developing and executing strategic plans for major ICS roll outs, as well as supporting our wider strategic agenda of empowering ICS colleagues in the areas of stakeholder engagement, change management, and user experience through the development and delivery of our training and enablement agenda.

Skills and Experience

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Collaborate with the team and wider ICS function to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
•    Managing the delivery of our stakeholder engagement strategy, including supporting the planning and execution of regular stakeholder briefing calls and updates, creating and editing stakeholder communications, and maintaining the stakeholder SharePoint site.
•    Developing and delivering an engagement strategy for how ICS engages with and communicates to technical functions outside of ICS that are impacted by our products, services, and processes, particularly the application owner community.
•    Supporting our team of certified change managers with the roll out of key ICS initiatives through the development and delivery of engagement and change communication strategic plans as required.
•    Assisting the wider ICS MT in their people engagement agenda across ICS through the development and delivery of campaigns, events, and communications as required.
•    Providing engagement and communication support for ICS’s four strategic pillars as well as supporting the delivery of ICS town halls, Career Connect sessions, year-end achievements videos, seasons greetings, and MyVoice results.
•    To oversee and maintain an ICS-wide events and communications calendar to ensure a coordinated approach to engagement, spot potential clashes, and avoid ‘spamming’ our audiences.
•    Helping to identify centres of excellence across the Bank and leveraging their expertise in the production and dissemination of training, templates, and tools to help embed relevant best practices for stakeholder engagement and change communications across ICS.
