Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

•  Ensure that Cash FI Client Service operations within Cash GBS consistently deliver high-quality services to customers and meet the goals established by the Group, utilizing allocated resources efficiently while maintaining operational risk at an acceptable level.
•  Oversee daily operations to achieve service excellence by meeting or exceeding service standards and striving for zero defects in FI Client services.
•  Execute operational responsibilities for FI Cash Client services as directed by the Head of Department, ensuring adherence to established service standards.
•  Direct staff duties according to the current Organization Chart within Cash Client Services.
•  Lead teams in strengthening relationships with clients and customers.
•  Drive initiatives to innovate and digitize processes while enhancing collaboration across the network.
•  Manage all efforts to increase agility and flexibility in work methods.
•  Demonstrate commitment to sustainable and responsible practices.
•  Maintain close working relationships with customers to promptly escalate and address service issues.
•  Initiate and implement service quality improvement initiatives.
•   Recruit, engage, and retain highly qualified personnel.
•  Establish and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports, providing feedback and rewards aligned with their performance.
•  Ensure continuous improvement in meeting prescribed timeliness standards for processes.
•  Authorize deal releases in accordance with the department’s operating instructions, customer directives, and specified standards for timeliness and accuracy.
•  Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and company and Group policies; identify deviations from standards and initiate corrective and preventive measures.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Banking or Finance preferred.  
•    Ideally 5+ years of experience in banking, analytical or another relevant environment
•    Languages: English, Mandarin (Added Advantage)

Skills and Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CCIB Client Coverage, Transaction Banking, and Financial Markets products to effectively assess cross-business issues.
  • Solid understanding FI Clearing, Correspondent Banking, Cash Processing & Investigation
  • Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret large volumes of information.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in Coach and mentor peers and junior staff on end-to-end processes and best practices.
