Job Summary

  • Responsible for the end-to-end deliveries of the technology portfolio comprising key business product areas such as SWIFT ISO20022. Own technology delivery of projects and programs across global SCB markets that
  • Develop/enhance core product capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance to Regulatory mandates.
  • Support operational improvements, process efficiencies and zero touch agenda
  • Configure the messaging platform to align with latest technology & architecture trends, improved stability and scale.
  • Manage change process and implementations.
  • Preparing and setting up environment configuration in the test systems
  • Ensure comply to Bank Development process (Eg: Documentation)
  • Interface with business & technology leaders of other SCB systems for collaborative delivery

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Align with the strategic direction and roadmap for AMH ISO enablement, aligning with Business Strategy, ITO Strategy and investment priorities. 

Business

  • Work hand in hand with Payments Business, taking product programs from investment decisions into design, specifications, solutioning, development, implementation and hand-over to operations, securing support and collaboration from other SCB teams 

Processes

  • Comply with Team and SCB processes 

People & Talent

  • Lead through example and build appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations for the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. Bridge skill / capability gaps through learning and development 

Risk Management

  • Be proactive in ensuring regular assurance that the Payments ITO Team is performing to acceptable risk levels and control standards 

Governance 

  • Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework 

Key stakeholders

  • Product Owners, Business Owners and Messaging Teams

Other Responsibilities

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in AMH Team; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats); [List all responsibilities associated with the role]
  • Interface with business & technology leaders of other SCB systems for collaborative delivery

Our Ideal Candidates should have:-

  • Minimum 10-12+ years of experience in a development or technical role in a banking or Financial Institute.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience working on AMH (Gateway product from SWIFT), SWIFT Messaging and ISO20022 projects
  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle and Unix commands.
  • Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of IT technology concepts, software architectures, MS products and development tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of project management principles and processes.
  • Ability to lead projects and work collaboratives with team members, interfaces team, testing team and users to drive successful project execution. 
  • Familiarity with modern development strategies and methodologies, including Agile frameworks and Scrum.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in ADO and confluence for project tracking and documentation.
