About FCSO
FCSO is the Bank’s specialist utility in the 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) undertaking review of risk events generated, analysis of red flags and resolution or escalation of risk. We are the first step in the Bank’s fight against Financial Crime, responsible for managing the risk in the processes and ensuring an effective control environment. Our teams are located across 25 locations, supporting over 40 markets worldwide. At FCSO, we aim to work collaboratively with our partners across the businesses to deliver deliver effective and sustainable surveillance capabilities to protect the bank from financial crime risk.
Your role will sit within our Technology & Operations (T&O) team, which is the powerhouse for the Bank. We aim to go further, faster, to ensure we're agile and ready for tomorrow, today. Our diverse network enables us to innovate and build banking solutions that support communities to prosper.

About our programme
Graduates who join the FCSO Graduate programme will go through a 12 months learning and development journey rotation to various FCSO functions (including but not limited to Transaction Monitoring & Fraud, Screening & Reg Control & Risk Management) before being placed into FCSO Surveillance operations roles.
You will be assigned a mentor to advise you and be a sounding board to support you throughout your journey. We will help you build relationships as we recognize that your network of contacts is an invaluable asset throughout your career. During this learning journey, we’ll
• Invest in helping you build the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in a career in Surveillance operations.
• Provide you with Surveillance services domain knowledge, along with technical and meta-skills needed to be a successful operations professional.
• Provide opportunities for you to engage with our senior leaders globally, pitch your ideas, and demonstrate your problem-solving skills.
Over a year you’ll experience an incredible and varied global learning experience, which will include:

Eligibility
We welcome students from all degree backgrounds with excellent academic records and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.
You’ll be a final year student, able to start July 2025, with the permanent legal right to work in the country you’re applying to.
