Job Summary

Strategy
•    Contribute to the strategic development of the Productivity Model for Transaction Banking operations by understanding and addressing the operational challenges and priorities.
•    Align model development objectives with the broader organizational goals of enhancing operational efficiency and driving performance improvement.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the model aligns with the bank's long-term strategic vision.


Business
•    Work closely with operational representatives to gather feedback, understand process workflows, and identify pain points to ensure the model’s practical applicability.
•    Deliver actionable insights derived from the model’s output to support decision-making and improve operational performance.
•    Actively engage in socializing the model development progress with stakeholders to secure buy-in and ensure alignment with business requirements.

Processes
•    Map out operational processes to define key activities and identify complexity drivers.
•    Provide development support for logical frameworks and workflows using tools like Alteryx or Dataiku to automate productivity evaluations.
•    Drive the development of Tableau dashboards to visualize and communicate model outputs effectively.
•    Document processes, technical details, and user guides comprehensively to ensure clarity and continuity.
•    Establish robust procedures for collecting and analyzing feedback from stakeholders to refine the model.

People & Talent
•    Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration by contributing to the team’s collective success and supporting colleagues as needed.
•    Exhibit strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and present ideas clearly and effectively.
•    Act as a liaison between the Performance Management team and operational representatives, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management
•    Ensure data accuracy and reliability in the productivity model to minimize risks associated with decision-making based on flawed outputs.
•    Identify and mitigate potential risks in workflow automation and process mapping, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
•    Maintain transparency in model assumptions, inputs, and outputs to address queries and challenges from stakeholders effectively.

Governance
•    Adhere to governance frameworks and organizational policies while developing and implementing the productivity model.
•    Provide well-documented and auditable workflows to support compliance with internal and external standards.
•    Regularly report development progress and insights to management, ensuring accountability and alignment with governance expectations.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
