Job Description: 

Job Summary

Manage TX system testing for BAU scenarios, implementation, and go-live activities to ensure smooth migration, operational readiness, accurate transaction execution. Provide training, governance oversight, and post -go-live stabilization support.

Strategy
•    Support TX platform rollout strategy and migration roadmap across Country operation and GBS operation.
•    Ensure operational readiness prior to go-live and subsequent releases.
•    Drive smooth transition from project phase to BAU operations.

Business
•    Ensure end-to-end execution of TX transactions during go-live.
•    Monitor transaction accuracy including Journal entries, advices and reverse flows.
•    Support stabilization activities post implementation.

Processes
•    Develop comprehensive test cases covering all business scenarios.
•    Execute E2E testing and ensure closure of defects.
•    Support pre-go-live User Verification Testing(UVT) activities.
•    Ensure proper user access setup(Maker/Checker) before go-live.
•    Monitor exception queues and ensure timely issue resolution if any.

Key Responsibilities

People & Talent
•    Conduct training session for Operations and relevant stakeholders on TX E2E flow.
•    Provide knowledge transfer to nominated BAU Trade Operation team.
•    Provide handholding support during pilot and go-live phase.

Risk Management
•    Escalate system or process issues for timely resolution.
•    Ensure compliance with internal controls & policies.

Governance
•    Ensure adherence to internal policies.
•    Conduct daily go-live update calls and track issues to closure.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Ensure compliance with Group, Country and Business policies and procedures.
•    Maintain strong risk awareness and uphold internal control standards.
•    Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct in all activities.
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders
•    Effectively manage key Stakeholders, Country Trade Operation Team, GBS Trade Operation Team, PSS Technology Team, Project Team, Product Owner, Product team and RM.

Other Responsibilities
•    Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in Standard Chartered Global Business Services (GBS) [India / Ops CIB TB/ Trade Ops Projects]; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)

Skills and Experience

•    Trade Product knowledge
•    Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
•    Analytical thinking and problem-solving for testing and go-live issues. 
•    Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction monitoring.
•    Communication & knowledge transfer capability for Operation team.
•    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities during go-live.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    At least 5 Years Experience in Trade Ops
Training
•    Experience in UAT/UVT Testing.
•    Exposure to System Implementation Projects and Operational Risk Processes
Languages
•    English, Other Regional Languages Advantageous.
