Job Summary
- Strong hands on engineering lead for Credit Origination Hive in PE. This is #2 priority for the CTA program and a strong engineering talent is required to drive the rebuild of creditmate legacy platform. The skillset requires is to complete overhaul and develop an inhouse solution in latest technology stack
- The person will drive the solution design, architecture and execution of developing new creditmate UI aligned with CC wide Unified UI / UX strategy. This is a strategic role to provide overall technical leadership and direction encouraging innovation and improvement in the technology and data systems, processes and ways of working.
Strategy
• Advice future technology capabilities and architecture design considering business objectives, technology strategy, trends and regulatory requirements
• Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.

Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates.
Understand and Recommend business flows and translate them to API Ecosystem

- Responsible for executing and supervising microservices development to facilitate business capabilities and orchestrate to achieve business outcomes
People & Talent
- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
- Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.

- The ability to interpret the Portfolio Key Risks, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures

Our Ideal Candidates should have:-
- We are seeking a technically proficient professional with 8 to 10 years of overall IT experience, including 4 to 6 years of specialization in areas such as DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Java/J2EE development, or production support.
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, , Maven, Ansible, Docker, and Rundeck.
- A strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code, release automation, and orchestration is essential.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, and integration with application performance monitoring tools is required.
- The candidate should be adept in programming and scripting using Java, Python, Perl, Shell Scripting, and PowerShell, with the ability to automate manual processes and optimize batch jobs.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber for regression and integration testing is a plus.
- A foundational understanding of database systems like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including basic DBA tasks, is expected.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and Windows Server, along with administration fundamentals, is required.
- The role involves driving root cause analysis, production incident recovery, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system stability and throughput.
- Candidates must be capable of working across Agile squads, engaging with development teams and business stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with ITSM processes, change management, and operational governance.
- OS certifications (e.g., RHCSA/RHCE, Microsoft Certified) or DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA) are a strong advantage. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to function in high-pressure production environments are essential for this role
