Job Summary
• Group Resilience is responsible for driving and delivering the Banks resilience capabilities spanning operational resilience, operational continuity in resolution, technology resilience, business continuity management and crisis management across the Bank.
• We partner with our businesses and across both lines of defence to define and manage the Banks most important business services (IBS), enabling product and segment CEOs to set impact tolerances thresholds for those services and ensures the operational assets which support them are built, maintained, and changed in BAU with resilient service in mind and that the Bank can continue to provide those services during crisis.
• The role holder will be responsible for managing and overseeing IBS health dashboard refresh, sourcing exception details and updating comments for periodic reporting to various stake holders. Role holder will also be responsible to collaborate with Business Resilience Leads (BRL), Dashboard team and OTCR for designing and rolling out new Metrics as required. From time to time there will be need for ad hoc MI reports or assessments to be carried out to analyse risk impact on IBSs.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the IBS health dashboard, ensuring its accurate and timely generation in collaboration with the Performance & Analytics team.
• Source exception details from various process owners for comprehensive reporting.
• Manage the governance forum for discussing IBS health snapshots and conducting impact assessments with Business Resilience Leads (BRLs).
• Provide updates to relevant forums and committees regarding IBS health snapshots and mapping information.
• Maintain the IBS health dashboard backlog.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new metrics and improve existing ones.
• Handle periodic MI requests related to IBS mapping from various stakeholders.
• Assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and User Validation Testing (UVT) for enhancements to resilience tools such as RSC and Fusion.
• Escalate issues and risks in a timely manner within relevant forums.
• Conduct analysis in the production of risk appetite and control metrics
• Follow up to ensure closure within agreed timelines.

• Assist in implementing long-term approach towards managing IBS health and oversight.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of initiatives linked to Operational Resilience.

• Promote the importance of Operational Resilience through sustained, business relevant, and actionable Bank-wide training and awareness initiatives.
• Raise awareness with business and functions to embed strategy and introduce resilience by design behaviours.
• Design with business stakeholders the mechanics to enable the Bank to embed operational resilience principles into prioritisation and investment decisions.
• Develop the sophistication and effectiveness of Mapping and IBS health oversight.

• Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group as well as managing them.

• Collaboratively work with internal stakeholders to address governance issues.
• Support the reporting of test outcomes and vulnerabilities to Group and Business governance committees.

Qualifications
• Education - Degree in a related field and professional accreditation with a related industry body
• Certifications - Business Continuity Management related certification (BCI, DRI, ISO etc.)
• Languages - English
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in managing dashboards and handling MI requests.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for governance forums and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with resilience tools and conducting UAT/UVT.
• Subject matter expert of emerging Operational Resilience regulations and best practice
• In-depth knowledge of Business and Functions and its supporting process and systems
• Strong knowledge of resilience and risk frameworks, principles, architecture
• Strong risk management experience
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, across various levels in the organization including senior leadership teams, in influencing key decisions taken in the Business and Functions
• 10+ years of Experience in Risk, Operations, Resilience, or Security in Banking and Financial services
• A related professional accreditation in Finance, Risk, Continuity, Security would be preferred.
• Strong communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
• Must be a self-starter who is able to initiate and successfully drive programs and projects to completion with little or no management supervision
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritise, make decisions, and work to tight timeframes.
• Proven ability to lead highly complex, global activities through influence and credibility rather than command and control.
• Ability to both assess strategic priorities and to focus on detailed aspects of a function to drive effective delivery.
