• The Journey Delivery Lead / Product Owner is accountable for the end to end delivery of the Standard Chartered advisory portfolio proposition, leveraging the EAS model and scaling it across priority Private and Priority Banking markets.
• This role owns the strategy-to-execution journey covering proposition design, portfolio and fee model enablement, regulatory-compliant advisory workflows, and multi system technology delivery. The objective is to enable separate advisory portfolios, differentiated fee structures, and enhanced client experience that supports AUM growth, recurring revenues, and improved portfolio risk governance for HNW and UHNW clients.
• The role acts as the single accountable owner across business, technology, operations, and governance to ensure advisory portfolio propositions are launched safely, scalably, and consistently across markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Program Leadership
• Own and translate the advisory portfolio and funds vision into a clear, phased delivery roadmap aligned to Wealth Solutions strategy.
• Define the target-state advisory journey, ensuring convergence of global CIO views, regional execution, and personalization at scale.
• Drive delivery and shape capabilities including advanced reporting, alerts, risk platform connectivity, and discretionary portfolio management alignment.
• Ensure the advisory portfolio delivers measurable outcomes across AUM growth, client retention, share of wallet, and recurring revenue stability.
• Act as the strategic interface between Business Heads, CIO Office, COO, Technology, and Risk on proposition evolution.
Business
• Own the business requirements and product backlog for advisory portfolio, covering:
• Separate advisory portfolio creation
• Fee models (All in, Tiered + Trade Fees, Flat %)
• Minimum fee logic, overrides, exclusions, and waivers
• Investment universe expansion (Phase 1 → Phase 2)
• Partner with Private Banking and Priority Banking to ensure the proposition meets client, RM, and regulatory expectations across markets.
• Define and manage pricing, fee calculation logic, exclusions (e.g. CIO funds) and ensure transparency and auditability.
• Ensure the proposition supports advisory mandates, ongoing portfolio monitoring, and suitability obligations.
• Drive alignment between advisory portfolio and DPM mandates, ensuring consistent client experience and reporting structures.
Processes
• Design and deliver end to end advisory processes, including:
• Portfolio onboarding and segregation
• Trade execution indicators for MA/EAS portfolios
• Quarterly fee calculation, overrides, and waivers
• Client reporting and disclosures
• Own cross system process alignment across:
• Order Management (GL Trade, FI Connect, Triple A Plus, Temenos Transact)
• New Trade Instruction Type
• portfolio indicators
• Trade and fee reporting
• Client portals, Portfolio Insight, Client Statements
• Ensure clear segregation of mandated vs non mandated assets in statements and reporting.
• Establish scalable operating models that can be reused for future markets (2027 onwards).
People & Talent
• Act as the single Product Owner / Journey Lead, coordinating squads, vendors, and platform teams across Wealth Capabilities.
• Lead and influence cross functional delivery teams spanning Technology, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Markets.
• Provide clear prioritisation, outcome-based backlog management, and decision clarity to delivery squads.
• Partner with regional stakeholders to ensure local regulatory and operational readiness without fragmenting the global model.
• Build strong working relationships with CIO Office, Risk, Compliance, and COO functions to embed advisory discipline.
• Coach teams on advisory-led, client-centric product thinking, not just system delivery.
Risk Management
• Risk control and governance: ensuring oversight and driving improvement in the control & resilience agenda.
• Ensure compliance with country regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Governance
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements for ongoing advisory, portfolio monitoring, suitability, and disclosure.
• Own delivery of required Change Risk Assessments, Data Risk Assessments, and governance artefacts.
• Ensure fee logic, overrides, exclusions, and waivers are:
• Transparent
• Auditable
• Properly controlled
• Embed strong portfolio risk governance, reducing dispersion and aligning client portfolios with CIO risk frameworks.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to ensure readiness for regulatory reviews and audits across all launch markets.
• Ensure controlled rollout with clear go/no go criteria, market readiness assessments, and post launch monitoring.

Qualifications
• Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• Certifications - PMP or equivalent preferred
• Experience - 10+ years of experience in banking technology delivery, with at least 5 years in leadership of strategic transformation roles.
• SDLC experience in a banking environment
• Experience with in products like Mutual Funds, ETF, Fixed Incomes, Securities and Structured Products
