Job Summary

About the Role


We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to own and scale our Referral Programme across Mobile and Web. This role is accountable for driving customer acquisition through referrals, with a particular focus on Affluent Banking, International Banking and Cross-Border Banking.
You will own the referral product end-to-end, continuously improving both the referrer and referee journeys to increase awareness, participation, conversion and customer quality. Success will be measured by sustained month-on-month growth in customer acquisition through data-driven product decisions, experimentation and exceptional digital experiences.

 

Core responsibilities:
•    Own the end-to-end referral journeys across Mobile App and Website.
•    Define the product roadmap aligned to business growth objectives.
•    Continuously optimise referral journeys to reduce friction and improve conversion.
•    Prioritise, manage  and deliver the product backlog to maximise commercial impact.
•    Grow referral-led customer acquisition across Affluent, International Banking and Cross-Border segments.
•    Increase both the supply of referrers and the conversion of referees throughout the funnel.
•    Identify new referral models, customer propositions, incentive structures and growth opportunities.
•    Develop innovative referral experiences that leverage multiple channels and touchpoints to maximise reach and engagement.
•    Use digital experiences, content, personalisation, targeting and behavioural insights to continuously grow the top of the funnel and improve conversion.
•    Own product performance through data and customer insights.
•    Be highly proficient in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP) to analyse customer behaviour, define audiences and activate personalised experiences.
•    Develop and execute a robust experimentation strategy using A/B testing, audience segmentation and journey optimisation.
•    Build measurement frameworks and dashboards to monitor funnel performance and identify growth opportunities.
•    Partner closely with business, marketing, design, engineering, data, risk and compliance teams to deliver high-impact digital capabilities.
•    Influence senior stakeholders using data, customer insights and commercial outcomes.
•    Lead delivery through Agile product teams and ensure measurable business value from every release.

Experiences, Qualifications and Skills:


•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science or any related field.
•    More than 7 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience in digital channels.
•    Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to support WRB driven intiative for specific market

•    Proven experience building or scaling customer acquisition or referral programmes.
•    Good understanding of growth product management, digital funnels and conversion optimisation.
•    Expert knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP); experience with Adobe Target is highly desirable.
•    Excellent analytical mindset with experience in funnel analysis, experimentation and customer segmentation.
•    Demonstrated ability to create best-in-class customer experiences across mobile and web.
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior business leaders.
•    Commercially minded, customer-centric and passionate about continuous optimisation.

•    Growth in referral-driven customer acquisition.
•    Increase in affluent, international and cross-border customer acquisition through referrals.
•    Improvements in referrer participation, referee conversion and overall funnel performance.
