Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    Own the discovery, definition and delivery of change for the Wealth Management Core Platform, with primary focus on the Unit Trust System (UTS) and its upstream and downstream integrations.

•    Translate business, operational and regulatory needs into clear product requirements, change requests, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities.

•    Act as the accountable bridge between country business teams, operations, technology chapters, external vendors and dependent platforms throughout the delivery lifecycle.

•    Drive outcomes from requirement clarification and solution assessment through design sign-off, testing, release readiness, production deployment and post-release monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership and Delivery 

•    Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring initiatives, epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, prioritised and traceable to business outcomes.

•    Lead requirement discovery and validation with Product, Operations and country stakeholders; identify gaps, challenge assumptions and establish an agreed scope and baseline.

•    Prepare and manage change requests, review vendor responses and functional specifications, resolve open questions, secure stakeholder approvals and provide formal sign-off when requirements are satisfied.

•    Coordinate with engineering, architecture, quality assurance, production engineering, vendors and dependent application teams to assess solutions, manage dependencies and maintain delivery momentum.

•    Plan and support SIT, UAT and business validation; track evidence and defects, secure sign-off, assess release readiness and support deployment and post-production monitoring.

•    Manage delivery risks, scope, priorities, milestones and regulatory deadlines; communicate decisions, trade-offs, dependencies and escalation needs clearly to stakeholders and senior management.

•    Build sufficient functional and technical understanding of UTS, interfaces, data mappings, reports and operational processes to facilitate effective solution discussions and make informed product decisions.

•    Maintain clear delivery documentation and governance records in the agreed collaboration and work-management tools, and drive continuous improvement in product and delivery practices.

Qualifications

Key Experiences

•    Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or equivalent role delivering complex application changes in financial services.

•    Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, writing change requests or user stories, reviewing functional designs and securing stakeholder sign-off.

•    Experience coordinating vendors and cross-functional technology teams through testing, release and production implementation.

•    Knowledge of system integration patterns and experience defining clear integration specifications for upstream and downstream systems.

•    Proven ability to resolve ambiguity, evaluate trade-offs and lead stakeholder discussions towards agreed decisions and successful outcomes.

•    Demonstrates learning agility, self-motivation and resourcefulness by quickly building domain knowledge, proactively closing knowledge gaps, and making effective use of available people, information and tools to drive outcomes.

•    Working knowledge of wealth management, investment products, order management, client communications or regulatory reporting is highly preferred.

Certifications/Qualifications

•    No mandatory certification. Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience required; Agile or Product Owner certification is advantageous.

Languages

•    Full proficiency English & Mandarin to support business needs in specific market.
