Key Responsibilities:
As Product Owner, you will hold accountability for steering priorities and guiding design decisions throughout the agile development lifecycle, ensuring alignment of all stakeholders from inception to delivery. Your comprehensive understanding of both the engineering and business dimensions will enable you to represent the end user effectively.
- Collaborate with technology project teams and subject-matter experts to define and prioritise business requirements, balancing critical needs against desirable enhancements to maximise value.
- Thoroughly review technology plans and design specifications to guarantee that deliverables meet business goals and regulatory standards, while identifying and mitigating potential impacts on risk and operational processes.
- Lead the coordination of comprehensive testing strategies, facilitating business user engagement to validate solutions and ensure alignment with intended outcomes.
- Drive successful project launches by orchestrating training programs, communication strategies, and stakeholder briefings, followed by meticulous tracking and analysis of post-implementation benefits.
- Monitor project progress rigorously, proactively identifying risks related to cost, scope, or timelines, and implementing timely resolutions to maintain delivery momentum.
- Convey project advancements and critical issues to senior management, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience combining technology project management and business process knowledge, particularly in the design and delivery of CMPS (Credit, Markets & Payment Services) products.
- Proven expertise in evaluating and managing risks associated with financial products to ensure operational robustness and regulatory compliance.
- Deep understanding of financial market products, digital order management systems, and the technical architecture of interfacing with core banking platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business users, and front-line staff.
- Experience driving agile technology projects, applying agile methodologies to manage backlogs, sprint planning, and delivery oversight.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and manage expectations effectively
Familiarity with the regulatory environment governing private and retail banking digital channels will be advantageous.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree from a reputable university in fields such as Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Professional training or certification in Project Management, Agile Methodologies, or System Development is highly desirable.
- Mandatory and developmental training focused on regulatory compliance, risk management, and role-specific competencies within the banking sector.
- Proficient command of English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication across global and diverse teams.
