Job Summary

The Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) organisation is instrumental in protecting and ensuring the resilience of Standard Chartered Bank’s data and IT systems by managing information and cyber security (ICS) risk across the enterprise. Group CISO serves as the first line of defence for assuring ICS controls are implemented effectively and in accordance with the ICS Risk Framework and for instilling a culture of cyber security within the Bank.

The Group CISO is central to ensuring the Bank’s ability to meet its ICS commitment to internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, as well as maintaining an acceptable ICS risk profile that is regularly reported to the Board.

The key responsibilities of this role are to lead the Risk Identification (RI) operations of thirty party security risk (TPSR), which mainly manages the risk identification, due diligence & PCI-DSS Compliance status assessments / initiatives globally.

Risk Management*
•    Effectively assess the Information and Cyber Security risk profile of the third party, and provide Business with accurate information enabling them to make adequate business decisions, that are in line with the risk appetite

Governance *
•    Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with all operational leads within TPSR (BAU-Ops, Special Engagement, REAM and RAR), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and  vendor management functions within businesses and functions within the country / countries in scope.

Regulatory & Business Conduct *
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Lead the TPSR  to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] * 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
