Job Summary
The AMH (Alliance Messaging Hub) Production Engineering Delivery Lead will be accountable for driving release governance, ensuring audit and compliance readiness, and coordinating SRE delivery initiatives across the SWIFT AMH platform. Leveraging expertise in release management, Agile delivery, and cross-functional leadership, the role ensures timely, high-quality releases, audit preparedness, and operational reliability.
The role requires a balance of technical delivery discipline, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence, ensuring production stability while enabling continuous improvements across engineering and support squads.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
Release & Change Management
• Establish and enforce structured release management processes for AMH and related SWIFT services.
• Coordinate & review release planning and delivery across Production Engineering and Development squads, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards.
• Track and report KPIs related to release quality, frequency, and stability.
SRE & Reliability Engineering
• Plan and prioritize SRE-driven improvements (monitoring, observability, automation, and resilience).
• Partner with support and engineering teams to reduce operational toil and improve system stability.
Incident & Problem Management
• Participate in high-severity production incident management and lead post-incident RCAs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure permanent fixes are implemented.
• Improve incident response readiness by standardizing playbooks and knowledge sharing.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
