Title: Strategy & Planning Lead

Job Summary
The Strategy & Planning Lead will be working within the TPS-ICS domain to support the definition of CISO strategy (goals and book of work) for CIB, Core Technology and Functions CISO and WRB and Markets CISO with alignment to the Bank, Business, T&O and ICS strategy. This role also involves supporting the CIB, Core Technology & Functions and WRB and Markets CISOs in execution of ICS Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing identification of efficiencies to meet T&O and RoTE targets.
- Deliver operational and cost optimisation per ICS Strategy and Roadmap. Meet ICS budget targets.
- Manage the CISO Portfolio within allocated budget.
- Track and manage cost and HC budgets to meet targets.
- Conduct detailed efficiency and optimisation analysis.
- Produce documentation for ICS MT on-sites and workshops.
- Support leadership in Strategy & Planning.
- Prepare content for team meetings, strategy day, and senior management.
- Prepare domain content for ICS Townhalls.
- Draft and consolidate key announcement communications.
- Build relationships with ICS Strategy, Financials, Service Management, and key stakeholders.
- Perform monthly HC validation including roles, spans, layers, and Job Family framework.
- Track and drive completion of MyVoice actions with regular updates.
- Support CIB, Core Technology, Functions, WRB, and Markets CISOs in performance assessments and year-end.
- Help CISOs build team bench strength for sustained ICS risk improvements.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar Portfolio Management role or Business Management / Planning role, managing large budgets, deliverables and risks
- Ability to operate independently or in lean teams, and independently engage senior stakeholders (e.g. B4 level)
- Experienced in creating management level presentations
- Experienced in executing people programs (eg: learning and development, location strategy) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and numerical ability
- Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills
Qualifications
• At least Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Management, IT) - Advantage
• Advanced MS Office skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Previous experience in the banking industry is an advantage
