Job Summary

  • Required:
  • Working level professional knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle database.
  • Cloud Migration Experience.
  • Good knowledge on Unix Shell scripting
  • Working knowledge of core JAVA, JSP servlets, Springboot
  • Understanding of development methodologies, phases and milestones.
  • Understanding of configuration management, production deployment processes, post production support activities.
  • Very good analytical skills to understand ‘AS-IS’ business processes. Candidate must be capable of and willing to scrutinise system through all available means (technical and non-technical) to gather data on AS-IS process.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate with business and stakeholders to understand problem, explain solutions and in general exchange information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Theoretical knowledge on TOMCAT application server and three tier web application
  • Past experience of developing CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins
  • Past experience of working on data migration, server upgrade, technology upgrade projects
  • Working experience on mutual funds, fixed income and bancassurance products. Working experience on banking domain.
  • Working experience on JIRA and Confluence
  • To function as the domain expert of the product and platform by supporting product roll out from a functionality and capability perspective.
  • To function as the key lead in project in leading all relevant internal teams in doing development for user requirements based on given user stories
  • Participate in discussion or workshops, understand business requirements from PO and work with vendor and multiple sub system teams to develop and deliver the product requirements. 
  • Lead and manage project delivery activities end to end from requirement gathering, development, testing support, implementation and post implementation support.
  • Ensure project is implemented on time, within budget and with quality. 
  • Ensure technology deployment in new project is fully meeting group level compliance and local regulatory requirement.
  • Continuously improve the project quality and reduce project implementation cost
  • Contribute idea on how to use technology to help business drive the revenue target.
  • Fulfilled audit and risk management requirement of the project undertaken.
