Job Summary
• Partner the Global Head of Cash Management and Cash Management Leadership Team to drive strategic execution, business performance, organizational effectiveness, and transformation priorities across the global Cash Management franchise.
• Act as a central coordination point across Cash Management team to ensure alignment, governance and delivery of key business objectives & priorities.
• Drive business performance through management reporting, strategic planning, scorecard governance, financial oversight, change management initiatives, and executive decision support.
• Lead business management initiatives that enhance productivity, operational efficiency, colleague engagement, talent development, AI adoption, resource management and organizational effectiveness while supporting sustainable revenue growth and disciplined cost management.
• Support the Global Head of Cash Management in fulfilling business, people-leader and governance responsibilities, including senior hiring, year-end performance and compensation processes, certification requirements, leadership communications and critical business approvals.
• Support senior leadership engagement with clients, regulators, industry bodies, media, investors and internal stakeholders, including thought leadership, industry conferences, client events and board-level forums.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Partner the Global Head of Cash Management in developing, communicating and executing strategic priorities, annual business plans and growth initiatives.
• Lead the preparation of management business reviews, executive updates, board and committee materials, performance presentations and associated research and analysis.
• Translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes, governance frameworks, implementation plans and clearly assigned actions across the Cash Management business.
• Drive alignment of objectives, KPIs and scorecards across global product teams and regions to support franchise priorities.
• Track strategic deliverables, decisions and dependencies to ensure the timely completion of business goals and management actions.
• Support the identification, assessment and execution of strategic growth opportunities, transformation initiatives, organisational changes and operating-model enhancements.
• Leverage data analytics, dashboards, Copilot and other AI-enabled tools to strengthen decision-making, reporting quality, productivity and management effectiveness.
• Support CIB-wide strategic people initiatives, including the validation of role-based skills profiles to ensure that Product Management and related Cash Management capabilities are accurately reflected for hiring, talent management, development planning, internal mobility and skills analytics
Business
• Oversee headcount governance, workforce planning, hiring approvals, budget tracking and cost management processes.
• Manage and monitor business performance against financial, client, people and strategic objectives.
• Lead annual planning activities, including headcount planning, budget submissions and resource prioritization exercises.
• Support the development and governance of business scorecards and performance management frameworks.
• Support the key business initiatives and transformation programme across Cash Management, including organizational redesign, operating model enhancements and productivity initiatives.
• Coordinate executive engagements with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, consultants, vendors, auditors, media organisations and industry forums.
• Drive internal communications, leadership messaging, employee engagement programmes and townhall events.
• Support initiatives aimed at strengthening culture, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, future skills, internal mobility and talent development.
• Identify opportunities to improve business productivity through automation, digitalisation and AI-enabled solutions.
Processes
• Drive continuous improvement of business management processes, governance frameworks and operating procedures.
• Enhance management reporting capabilities through automation, dashboard development, analytics and digital solutions.
• Coordinate business planning, forecasting, headcount governance and financial management processes.
• Support implementation of initiatives that improve operational efficiency, execution discipline and business transparency.
• Partner with technology, data and infrastructure teams to identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities and technology investments.
• Maintain oversight of delegated authorities, access governance, client portfolio governance and business administration processes.
• Support adoption of new ways of working, including AI-enabled productivity tools and automation initiatives across the Cash business.
People & Talent
• Support the Global Head of Cash Management and leadership team on talent strategy, succession planning, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.
• Coordinate people-related governance processes, including performance management, promotion reviews, talent discussions and organisational planning.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including MyVoice action planning, culture programmes, recognition initiatives and leadership communications.
• Support learning and development programmes, future skills initiatives, certification programmes and AI readiness initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration across regions and product teams to strengthen leadership effectiveness and employee experience.
• Monitor and analyse workforce metrics and employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention and organisational health.
Risk Management
• Support the Global Head of Cash Management and Product Leadership Team in maintaining effective business and product governance frameworks across the Cash Management franchise.
• Drive governance and oversight of strategic initiatives, ensuring risks, dependencies, issues and mitigating actions are identified, tracked and escalated appropriately.
• Coordinate governance processes related to Product Lifecycle (PLC), regulatory commitments, audit actions, management actions and business remediation activities.
• Monitor delivery against agreed milestones, scorecards and performance commitments, ensuring timely escalation of execution risks and missed deliverables.
• Partner with Product, COO, Risk, Compliance and Control functions to identify, assess and mitigate operational, conduct and execution risks impacting Cash Management.
• Provide oversight of management information, KPIs and governance reporting to support transparent and risk-informed decision making.
• Ensure governance expectations, accountability frameworks and performance metrics are clearly communicated and embedded across product teams.
• Support reviews of product performance, product health indicators, client outcomes and strategic objectives to identify areas requiring management intervention.
• Coordinate responses to internal audits, regulatory reviews, governance assessments and control-related requests where required.
• Promote a strong culture of accountability, risk awareness and disciplined execution across the Cash Management organisation.
• Support the implementation of governance processes that strengthen product accountability, enhance transparency of delivery commitments and reinforce ownership of business outcomes.
Governance
• Organise and coordinate key management forums, including Cash MT, MBRs, strategy onsites/offsites, product reviews, governance committees and executive workshops.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, business cases and briefing materials for senior management committees and governance forums.
• Track and monitor execution of leadership actions, strategic initiatives and management decisions.
• Ensure appropriate governance and controls are maintained across business planning, financial management, headcount management and operational processes.
• Support internal and external audit activities and regulatory engagements where required.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency and effective risk management across the Cash Management business.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 15+ years of working experience supporting senior executives within financial services, transaction banking, cash management or a similarly complex global business.
• Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, measurable outcomes and effective governance.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and business-performance-management activities.
• Strong experience in executive communications, senior-management materials, management reporting, financial oversight and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across a global matrix organisation.
• Experience coordinating management forums, business reviews, planning cycles and executive decision-making processes.
• Experience managing or supporting headcount, cost, budget, procurement, compensation and workforce-governance processes.
• Experience leveraging data analytics, dashboards, automation, Copilot and AI tools to improve productivity, reporting and decision-making.
• Strong judgement, discretion and attention to detail when handling sensitive business, people and compensation information.
