Job Summary
This role supports the effectiveness of Senior Management across external engagement, internal culture, and day-to-day prioritization. The primary focus is on preparing Senior Management for high-impact interactions—across clients, regulators, policymakers, industry forums, and internal audiences—ensuring clear, consistent, and well-executed messaging.
A core aspect of the role is orchestrating Senior Management’s agenda—ensuring time is aligned to the right priorities, that Senior Management is engaging the most relevant stakeholders, and each interaction is purposeful and well-prepared. This includes shaping materials and framing engagements to reinforce consistent themes and strategic messaging over time.
The role also plays a central part in driving internal culture and engagement, supporting Senior Management-led forums and initiatives and ensuring leadership messaging is clear and impactful across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Management Messaging & Content Development
- Draft and refine talking points, speeches, presentations, and briefing materials for Senior Management across a wide range of forums:
- External: client engagements, industry conferences, regulatory and policy discussions
- Internal: town halls, leadership discussions, and cultural initiatives
- Synthesize complex inputs into clear, concise, and well-structured materials.
- Ensure alignment with broader strategic priorities and corporate messaging.
External Engagement & Travel Planning
- Coordinate Senior Management participation in external engagements in partnership with Communications and Marketing.
- Ensure Senior Management’s time is optimized for impact, including identifying and prioritizing key stakeholder meetings (clients, partners, industry leaders), particularly when traveling
- Develop structured briefing materials and engagement plans to maximize impact.
Internal Engagement & Culture
- Support design and delivery of Senior Management-led internal forums, including town halls and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help drive cultural initiatives in partnership with HR and Communications.
- Reinforce clear and consistent messaging across employee touchpoints.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Plan and execute Senior Management–led events
- Ensure high standards of delivery across logistics, content, and stakeholder experience.
Coordination & Execution
- Work across Communications, Marketing, HR, business teams, and the COO office to ensure alignment and timely delivery of business priorities.
- Manage multiple workstreams, tracking timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
Operational Support
- Support management of the Business’s budget, including tracking and reporting.
- Oversee administrative processes such as vendor onboarding and approvals.
Strategic Support
- Work closely with the broader COO team to ensure alignment across priorities.
- Support strategic or business initiatives as needed, including developing materials and coordinating stakeholders.
- Balance flexibility to contribute to broader initiatives while maintaining primary focus on communications, engagement, and execution.
Skills and Experience
- Communication Excellence: Strong ability to produce clear, polished executive-level materials across a range of topics.
- Business Acumen: Working knowledge of markets, banking, or transaction banking; able to quickly understand and synthesize business topics.
- Judgment: Strong judgment in messaging, stakeholder prioritization, and handling sensitive information.
- Execution: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Proven ability to work across functions in a matrixed environment.
- Presentation and Excel Skills: Advanced PowerPoint, Intermediate Excel capability and structured thinking.
- Professional Presence: Articulate, credible, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–10 years of experience in communications, business management, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience in financial services or similarly complex environments preferred.
- Prior experience supporting senior executives or working in communications or strategy.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

Recruitment Assessments
Expected annual base pay range for the role is 141,100 USD to 211,600 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
