Job Summary

The Associate Director supports Senior Coverage Banker managing a portfolio of Chinese asset manager and Insurance clients. Assist with originating business opportunities, delivering budgets, and assisting in deal execution; as well as with a key emphasis on expanding digital asset business.  Working with GAMs, FAMs and Product Partners in following up network and cross-sale opportunities.

Responsibilities include developing client relationships through gaining a good understanding of client organization setup. Coordinates with product partners, prepare for client calls, and maintaining a disciplined approach to support execution of client account plans.

•    Support revenue growth and delivery of agreed targets / objectives consistent with overall strategic intent
•    Work closely with Senior Coverage Bankers/Coverage Bankers on origination activities and relationship management.  
•    
Clearly demonstrating an understanding of client business and identify new cross sell opportunities through working with Product teams
•    Maintain a good discipline in keeping client profiles updated and timely logging of call reports for sharing with coverage team. 
•    Take part in Account Plannings. Also be vigilant on CDD/AML related monitoring of client portfolio 
•    Build good relationship with client to support seamless deal execution and assist with resolving account issues   
•    A good understanding of Banks’ products in the DA space and contribute to DA implementation projects across FI
•   Strong credit skills as demonstrated from credit proposals quality, identification of early warning signals; also exercising good capital management controls
•   Work with network product partners and GAMs in delivering Bank’s products to clients 
•    Demonstration of strong transaction management skills and product knowledge, measured by senior feedback, sales process, client engagement levels and ability to execute agreed account plans
•   Stay abreast of industry developments in which our clients operate

 

Job Requirements

•    Bachelor degree holder or above 
•    Fluent in Mandarin and English
