Job Summary

As the Associate Director of Strategy, this role is crucial in assisting the Strategy leadership team to define and implement the organization's strategic vision. It demands a proactive, strategic thinker with robust analytical skills and a collaborative spirit to lead complex projects that support our long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support the bank's growth objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate development activities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the strategy team.
  • Cross collaborate with both Business and Functional teams to support on vaious porject initiatives

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services with deep expertise in banking consulting and innovation driven transformations.
  • Banking consulting experience with a top tier firm and/or with strategy functions of leading banks as project manager or Engagement Manager
  • Emerging markets knowledge or experience preferred (especially in Asia, Africa or Middle East)
  • Comfortable working in a relatively unstructured, project-based and multi-cultural environment
  • Engage senior stakeholders across the bank on projects
