About Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform trading activity for Structured Credit Trading in Great China
  • Help deliver the strategic direction and performance of business
  • Work with Sales, Structuring, Risk Management and other internal stake holders to execute initiatives to grow the business
  • Awareness and understanding of the strategy and business model of the Group and Global Credit, as appropriate to the role
  • Maximise total product income by ensuring effective cost optimisation, risk management, service and infrastructure
  • Be responsible for all risk management of Structured Credit Trading activities in the region
  • Increase SCB's visibility by driving commercial, competitive pricing for our clients
  • Manage the implementation of Structured Credit Trading specific strategies and ensure that performance objectives and revenue goals are met and RWA targets managed

 

Skills and Experience

  • Some experience in Structured Credit Trading or other relevant area
  • Relevant degree and proven ability to handle quantitative models
  • Must possess sharp business acumen (including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return), excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed and highly varied stakeholders
