Responsibilities
Strategy
- Support and assist Regional Head of Financing Solutions and senior transactors in the team for executing the business strategy.
- Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role
Business
- Assist senior transactors in origination and to win mandates as well as execution syndicated loan.
- Working closely with CCIB Clients and other Product teams (such as SPM (incl. CPM, CPA, Loan Syndicate), Markets, Global Banking teams etc).
- To structure deals with derivatives or other credit enhancements to maximize profitability and/or distribution potential;
- Maximising GCNA profitability by arranging value-added deals whilst minimising the use of balance sheet in arranging syndicated loans;
- Winning market share in the GCNA syndicated loan market and making SCB being market leader;
Processes
- Full compliance with process as per Product Programme
- To manage all sale activities are in compliance with Bank’s internal policies and local regulatory requirements as well as the Anti-Money Laundering policies, Suspicious Transactions Reporting Requirements etc
People & Talent
- Attend the relevant trainings;
Risk Management
- awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group;
- Follow our bank policies and compliance when we are doing transactions;
- Ensure no adverse audit findings, no breach of underwriting policy.

- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role;

- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies
- Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities
- Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank
- Be responsible for failure to follow relevant rules and processes, failure to properly perform the responsibilities, and implement corrections
- Cooperate with any investigations or reviews on regulatory failure such as accountability review
Requirements
- Experience in Syndication Loan, CCIB client coverage, Credit and Hedging products
- Bachelor degree or above
- Languages: English & Chinese
