JOB SUMMARY

•    This headcount is part of the CMPS (Capital Markets Products and Sales) Team focusing on supporting CMPS dealing desks across FX, EQ, FI and structured products on all deal/order related activities, including trade reconciliation, lifecycle and other administrative activities. 

•    The incumbent is responsible for providing post trade reconciliation, lifecycle support, reporting and data maintenance.

•    Develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, CMPS staff (local and global product specialists, Dept. Head/s), business partners (regional and global LoB Management, RMs, Investment Advisors) and support staff (GCO, Ops, Compliance, Credit, Risk Management) 

•    Assume responsibility for local MIS requirements 

•    In order to maintain the highest standard for execution, ensure that all products have the requisite Governance framework; be aware of the various processes as well as adhering to SCB Policies. 

•    Work on developing regional/country dealing procedures.

•    Ensuring compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements.

•    Maintaining good relationship and to work closely with internal and external stakeholders including the front, middle and back offices.

•    Providing support to ad hoc projects in relation to specific aspects of desk activities, including system testings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

•    The incumbent has the responsibility to liaise with multiple stakeholders with focus on providing dealing support functions whilst adhering to compliance and market risk controls pertaining to these related activities

•    A high standard of accuracy is required. 

Processes
•    Ensure awareness of trade booking processes and deliver quality post trade service. 
•    Ability to identify and suggest ways of enhancements to existing processes.

•    Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
•    Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.

Qualifications

•    Team Player 
•    Good knowledge on Financial market products 
•    Communications and presentation skills 
•    Marketing and Sales experience 
•    Entrepreneurial Spirit and willingness to keep broadening capabilities 
•    A degree in finance or a technical field is preferred 
•    Basic analytical and technical skills that can be practically applied to day-to-day operations.
•    Knowledge in Excel. VBA knowledge is a plus
•    HK SFC Type 1,4 license preferred
•    Ability to work with a high level of attention to details.
•    Ability to work under a fast-paced environment.
•    Good in internal and external stakeholders’ management
•    Strong work ethic with high level of self-motivation and initiative
